For as much money as Tont Khan throws around, he could have sprung for a better Leather Face. There had to be cosplayers in the Nashville area with better looking get ups than that. And the chainsaw? Its the cheapest model at Home Depot! I recognize it. That Great Value Leather Face they trotted out really did the match no favors.
That match was so so ludicrous, I loved it. Best gimick thing AEW has done. But... why no Texans in the match? Jarret vs Dustin Rhodes would've been so fantastic.
There was an Orange Cassidy match on the card so this wasn't the worst match or the fakest looking thing that night. They also had the Adam Cole and MJF bad comedy segments so it wasn't even the most stupid or dumb thing on the show but it was still really bad.
you know good sir, i aint in no way disagreeing that the adam cole and MJF segments are bad, but i personally think its intentionally.. but they are having soo much fun and making it work that who cares if its bad, as long as the in ring promos are doing the actual storytelling, its what matters more to the match as well as of course the match itself
