Was there last night, absolutely earth-shattering experience. I've waited for so many years to see ST since they released The Way That You Were, my heart is full
I couldn’t agree more. I flew in from Oslo to see Sleep Token for the first time, and it blew my mind. I started crying the moment Vessel opened his mouth 😂 his voice was just unbelievable amazing. I did not expect him to be THIS good, but boi was I wrong. This is the best concert I have ever been to in my 40 year old life 🩷
I did not expect Bilmuri to be so good live. Gabby is a legend. For ST the setlist being chronological was such a good move. And the Espera and II rising up during the show was sooo good. At one point I thought II was going up the ceiling 😂
I was there last night with my girlfriend. She cried at Missing limbs, I was feeling emotional as well and we both said we have butterflies even before they came on which we have never had before, We managed to get barrier in front of IV. But what an atmosphere and what a setlist as well. One of the best bands in the world. Roll on Download 2025 🤘🔥
Just an incredible gig. I'm still processing it all tbh. ST showing that their Download 2025 headline slot is not only deserved, but also that they are destined to smash it. Bilmuri were superb support and looked soooo confident on the big stage. Fabulous night. #worship
We were at the Glasgow show (came from SoCal) and my mind was absolutely blown at the quality of the show. Bilmuri brought such amazing energy - loved how they're uniquely themselves. And Sleep Token - I thought there was no way Vessel could sound better but what I wouldn't give for a live album. Just incredible - the set went by way too fast and I wish we would have gotten tickets for Manchester so we could see them twice. Best concert I have ever seen.
Yep. Agree completely. Was sat a few rows above you with my 13yo son who was just in awe. Last time I felt like that at a gig was decades ago. Just magical
You’re always here at the right moment, Steve. After hearing ST’s latest album and going straight to YT to find out more, I found your listen through video and loved how you connected with it, especially Euclid. Now, after also being there last night, I’m back on YT to see what people have to say, and here you are. I totally feel your passion for it. No one I know connects with music like I do, so I really enjoying watching your content. *virtual hugs*
It was an unbelievable experience. Being near right at the front, middle of the pits going from chaos to calm, it was near enough a spiritual experience. The audio mixing during their set was awesome, you could feel Vessels vocals just pierce you. It was amazing.
Seen them last week it was honestly awesome❤ talked to the front of house after the show to thank him. He did an incredible job. The drum solo was everywhere
Saw them in Glasgow earlier this week and Bilmuri surprised me so much! I’ve heard a bit before going to the gig but for some reason I wasn’t really connecting with the songs. But hearing them live? Wow. They were incredible! So, so good. And Sleep Token… well, it was my second time seeing them live. And going from a 2000 capacity venue to the Ovo Hydro it’s mind blowing. The lights. The sound. The set list. It was incredible, amazing. ❤
I saw them in Hungary. It was the best show ever. It was so well made, the sound was amazing for both bands. Simply incredible. Also want to thank you Steve, as i learned about both bands from you through vids/live streams and they are just became my number 1-2 as well.
I was at the Glasgow show and it easily goes into my top 3 of all time. Like, comfortably. The atmosphere was incredible, both bands were faultless and the production was incredible. My favourite thing outside of the performance as well, was the increasing intensity of red lighting used throughout ST’s third act of the set, until we reached TMBTE when it went green. Just a subtle visual nod to Vessel’s ascendancy from what he was, to what he’s become. Incredible storytelling on all levels.
Saw them in Manchester, waited to see them since i found them when tmbte came out. I fell in love with ascensionism when it came out and hearing it live made me cry, my favourite song of all time. Several other songs got me close to crying too: Atlantic because its another 10/10 masterpiece, Euclid because it was a beautiful moment that made vessel cry aswell. Other songs were alot better than they already are when performed live too: tndnbtg, hypnosis, chokehold, euclid to name a few. Unforgettable experience and i CANNOT wait for download and what they do next and where else i can see them in future
This gig was absolutely immense. I felt honoured to be there! Bilmuri hit it out of the park, it felt like they did an amazing job, The crowd felt so much more into it than they did for Health last year.
I agree with everything you said. I travelled from Vancouver, BC to see them in Amsterdam and I feel so fortunate to have been there for it. Thanks for putting this into words because I simply cant
OMG I live in Vancouver too and only got into ST couple weeks ago.. devastated I missed the tour in Canada and US and if I had a bit more time to prep I would have gone to the UK to watch 😢 Here’s hoping for 2025 🤞🏼
Went to the Birmingham show, literally the best show I have ever seen, and i used to be a tour manager so seen a fair few shows, you said it in one how can anyone top this, ridiculously good, will remember it forever!
I saw Bilmuri a few months ago and was equally blown away by his drummer. Unreal playing. Also Johnny hung after the show and snapped photos with everyone who was patient enough to wait their turn. He looked so exhausted but he still stood there to show love for his fans. It made me respect him even more than I already did. Also Gabi is a superstar. She definitely kinda steals the show.
I was there. I didn't know who Bilmuri were before but was pleasantly surprised, good set with funny crowd interactions. Sleep token were incredible, the lighting was impressive, vessel sounded just as good live if not better with some of the extra notes he was adding. The Summoning was my favourite of the night, it was just staged so well.
Even just the beginning piano in Euclid makes me start crying… I barely could listen 5 seconds in while watching this video before I almost broke down in tears… I hope someday I can see them live, and I’m so excited to see what else they have in store
Wearing an Unprocessed shirt when interviewing Johnny 🤘🏼. Saw two shows of this tour and couldn't agree more. Amsterdam was epic, because you could see how comfortable Bilmuri felt being there. The crowd was also very open to the whole experience. Birmingham was next on the list. The emotional overload of being part of two Rituals and also volunteering for the Projekt Euclid is real. So thankful for the people who started this visual display of gratitude to my favourite band 🟢🟢
I watched a video from the Manchester show & was so impressed by the production. It seems like they've really taken it up a notch from their previous tours. I'd never heard of Bilmuri before this video, so I'll have to check them out. Thank you for posting this, it's probably the closest I'll ever come to seeing them in concert.
I was there last night man... wow. First time seeing Bilmuri and Sleep Token since I fell in love with them both and I left speechless. The performances and the spectacle of this show was incredible and it really felt like everyone there was a part of something special. I agree with you though, im worried about future gigs now 😂. Congrats on the huge interview dude, cant wait to see it :)
I was there as well. You were literally filming the stage over my head lol!! Loved both bilmuri and sleep token, as i expected to (they're both top 2 for me aswell) Absolutely fantastic experience
In Amsterdam they opened with The night belongs to God and then ended with Euclid.. Which is as full circle as you can get. Everything in between was stellar.
Here you are again with the super quick edit & upload. Thank you! Listening to you geek out about Euclid is even making me close to tears. I would probably actually cry if i was there 😭😭 Seems the setlist order is usually how they do their headlining concerts (i like it too, esp since ST has the trilogy thing going on, it would be criminal to put Euclid in the middle of the set HAHAHA). I think they only mix it up for festivals, based on what i've seen on YT. huhu really hope they come to Asia someday. If you get to interview them somehow, pls put in a word for me. 😂
Got to see both in Manchester on Tuesday . Totally agree with everything you’ve said about your experience. I’m 68 , 69 on Christmas Eve . Sleep Token are amazing and I enjoyed Bilmuri who I never heard of.
I was there! While I appreciate the musicianship of Bilmuri, and they were very good live, the music didn't float my boat. However, Sleep Token were phenomenal.
I agree - I was at Wembley last year and of course we didn’t get the proper set. Honestly I was blown away by how good they sounded - Bilmuri were absolutely fantastic- perfect support act and sounded incredible. As for Sleep Token - just absolutely smashed it out the park for me. Such a special experience I can’t imagine getting with anyone else
Two things: I've never really listened to Bilmuri before, and now I'm in love. They are so much fun! Secondly, I never sought out what the Sleep Token set list was going to be for this tour, but as SOON as I heard the opening notes of TNDNBTG, I knew the closer would be Euclid!
Seeing them live was really like a religious awakining. We did not know if III and IV would be playing and the whole hall was going crazy seein them back on stage. I was on a Fallin in Reverse /Hollywood Undead Concert 2 weeks later but seeing ST before did not change or ruin my experience for other concerts. I felt in the right haven with ST and with FiR and Hollywood it was a big awesome party, had such a blast.
I was at Birmingham on Thursday bilmuru and sleep token never heard BilMuru and absolutely had a blast with them and first time seeing sleep token live probably my favourite show a brilliant show of juxtaposed bands but underneath are very much trying to do the same thing which is bring a wide array of music to people and have fun while doing it
Myself and a friend saw them in Manchester on Tuesday, but with one thing and another, we were late, missed the entirety of Bilmuri's set and Sleep Token were just coming on stage as we got into the building. They were totally awesome though and easily better than anyone else I've seen musically in a very long time. I hadn't originally got tickets for more than one venue on this tour, and even though I really don't like Leeds arena very much at all, I'm considering getting a ticket and going by myself because I want to see them again *that* badly (Tuesday having the first time I'd seen them at all). We were in the seats (neither of us can stand for very long periods of time) and although the atmosphere was very charged, we seemed to not catch as much of the emotion as a lot of the people who's comments I've read from the night and I want to try and have a chance for that too. I don't know, maybe I'm just greedy for a huge amount of raw emotion (does it sound silly, fake or just weird if I say I really do want the music to make me cry with the emotion of it?) and I want to...I dunno, feel overwhelmed by it to the Nth degree. I think that with everything that happened beforehand, we were both emotionally wrung-out by the time we got to Co-Op Live and it mightn't have been possible to have felt it all like I wanted to because of what happened during the day before we even got to the venue. But yeah, Sleep Token are astounding live.
Wonderful in every way. Great to hear your experience. I have to separate Sleep Token out, there is Sleep Token and then there is other music that I love, and then music I enjoy. Not sure if that makes sense!!!
Same here, I saw both of them in Lyon beginning of Nov. Still processing it and would pay a lot to see them again (saw Dream Theater and Calogero in the meantime but let's face it... ST is really awesome).
Me and my partner went to go see them in Manchester at the new Co-op arena! It was our first time seeing them, and I can 100% say that it was the best live experience ever. We got there a good 3/4 hours early in the queue, met some really nice people (we’re actually seeing them again soon) and managed to get the rail on IVY side. Everything about this gig was insane! The only thing I would say, and this is me really really trying to find any fault (which I can’t) is that Vessel didn’t do the scream on the breakdown on Higher which is my fav track of theirs. Disappointed I wasn’t able to get any merch due to payday not aligning, bet hey, the coin, which I really wanted was unfortunately a little out of my budget.
Both these bands are also my top two bands as well. Super Jealous that Uk/Europe got them together. I did get to see them both in the States, though. Saw Sleep Token in May and Bilmuri in August. Sleep Token is amazing, of course, but the Bilmuri headling show was the most fun I've ever had at a concert. so much energy in the crowd.
Going to see them on the Tuesday at the O2 can’t wait but think I’m going to have to miss the last 2 songs to make the train back home and beat the rush as I have work the Wednesday morning and a while away from London 😢but so excited nonetheless
Love your reactions. I was at Manchester never seen Bilmuri the sound system ruined it for me couldn't hear any lyrics in their songs. I was quite worried for Sleep Token & then Vessel sang you could hear every word & breath OMG it was amazing. Mon I am going to Leeds one of my favourite venues be interesting to see the difference as it is big but the set up makes it more intimate even when sat up in the gods. At nearly 60 can't do mosh pits 🤣🤣
Wish I could send u the videos of my 9 year old singing her heart out and crying out vessels name. The gig, my daughter's...I just don't think anything will ever make me feel the joy I felt that night
Sleep Token were great, though I preferred the OVO Arena setlist personally, but overall preferred this show as Vessel was on top form last night. Bilmuri was silly fun, they were okay, that ‘HUH’ moment in Better Hell was really cool, but wouldn’t rush to see them again.
That's an interesting combo. Can somebody explain Bilmuri's appeal? I'm not being snarky, just genuinely curious. Aren't they kind of an ironic metal/country act? I didn't know they were this popular.
The country metal sound has only bubbled up on more recent songs by Bilmuri. He’s a prolific songwriter, putting out more music in one year than most do in 3. Each album has its own sound not only sonically but in style too. Plus it’s unique and sounds like Bilmuri. It’s also fun and puts a smile on your face. His earlier stuff was heavier and darker. With every metalcore band under the sun sounding the same, it’s great to hear something that’s not a rip of every other band on the scene.
The thing with Bilmuri is that Johnny Franck is a top tier shitposter online, but if you actually listen to the songs a lot of them are lyrically devastating. Lots of songs about mental health and feeling alone and battling depression. I love music that combines all sorts of genres, and Bilmuri is good at that. What originally got me hooked on Bilmuri was that they have that core sound of my favorite mid-aughts emo music, but updated, if that makes any sense? Like the soul is the same, but the sound has been updated for modern times. I hope this helps! I understand it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but it tickles my brain in the best ways possible. Especially the mixing with country, because I unironically love alt-country music, but I recognize that I’m one of few in that niche 😂
4th time ive seen them now (Manchester co-op) Weirdly my least favourite gig of theirs. Stage presence was really good, i enjoyed the set list and they sounded great. The crowd however was flat for the first half of the gig, and didn't really perk up all that much for the latest tracks. Seems like 90% of the crowd were only there for TMBTE. Crowd interactions are what make gigs for me. So for it to be as poor as it was, really put a downer on it.
@largeformatlandscape I know, Arena's are my least favourite places to see bands. My favourite gig this year... Unprocessed at Deaf Institute. Tiny venue but amazing atmosphere.
Manchester was as close to a religious experience as I’m ever likely to get. Been going to gigs for over 45 years and I’ve never seen anything or indeed felt anything like that in my life. Incredible
I was at the Glasgow show on Monday and oh boy did they deliver 🔥🤘🏻 from supporting Architects two years ago when only a third of the place was full, to then completely selling the place out is unheard of 😄 here’s my review of that gig if you want to check it out love your content by the way th-cam.com/video/neEhs2_8UmQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=7Mi_0M_KwtpcMdGW
Saw them in Manchester, still recovering from the drop in Ascensionism, I think I left most of my face at that gig after that
Was there for that event! Unreal experience 😝
Me too . Amazing ❤❤❤
Was there last night, absolutely earth-shattering experience. I've waited for so many years to see ST since they released The Way That You Were, my heart is full
I have just watched the best show I have ever seen in my life, Sleep Token in Cardiff… OMG I’m lost for words to describe how amazing they were
Was a beautiful show. I am still buzzing!
I couldn’t agree more. I flew in from Oslo to see Sleep Token for the first time, and it blew my mind. I started crying the moment Vessel opened his mouth 😂 his voice was just unbelievable amazing. I did not expect him to be THIS good, but boi was I wrong. This is the best concert I have ever been to in my 40 year old life 🩷
Heldiggris❤❤❤
I did not expect Bilmuri to be so good live. Gabby is a legend.
For ST the setlist being chronological was such a good move. And the Espera and II rising up during the show was sooo good. At one point I thought II was going up the ceiling 😂
I loved that detail of their platforms rising higher.

Totally agree
I also shed a tear at Euclid - very special moment 🥹 and I thoroughly enjoyed Bilmuri!! Amazing performance

Yep. Agree completely. Was sat a few rows above you with my 13yo son who was just in awe. Last time I felt like that at a gig was decades ago. Just magical
Going again tuesday because...too good to miss!!Stunning performance.Touched the soul.

Saw them in Cardiff tonight and also I agree, best gig I've ever been to. Spellbinding.
You’ve just described exactly what I imagined it would be like. We’re blessed to be living in this time.
So happy for you getting to interview Johnny, looking forward to that video! I flew to Prague to see this show, so good. Bilmuri UK tour next year 🎉
I can see my self at 3:12 stood up in the Ovo lounge 112, great night awsome show, I am now listening to bilmuri
I was at the gig, such an amazing experience! Im 51 and have seen a lot of great live bands, these guys are special ❤
WHAT A BIG THROBBING INTERVIEW 🎉 Congrats brother!!
Cheers dude!
It was soo sooo good, so happy I got to be there. It was hilarious when Vessel got on all fours for IV to sit on for the solo in the summoning lmao
I saw them in Hungary. It was the best show ever. It was so well made, the sound was amazing for both bands. Simply incredible. Also want to thank you Steve, as i learned about both bands from you through vids/live streams and they are just became my number 1-2 as well.

Saw this in Cardiff yesterday and it was amazing. Each band shouldn’t work on paper but it works so well
I was there , and that was my favourtie concert of all time. left me with tears in my eyes. I felt lucky to be alive in that time.
This gig was absolutely immense. I felt honoured to be there! Bilmuri hit it out of the park, it felt like they did an amazing job, The crowd felt so much more into it than they did for Health last year.
Speaking of familiar faces in the comments, who’s this fucking loser? 😂
Seeing them on Tuesday and you've ramped up how excited I already was.
I agree with everything you said. I travelled from Vancouver, BC to see them in Amsterdam and I feel so fortunate to have been there for it. Thanks for putting this into words because I simply cant

@CardiBeaa theyve still never been to Vancouver. I actually went to their 2019 Seattle show but didnt know them yet and missed them 😭
One of the best gigs I’ve ever been to. Start to end.
Went to the Birmingham show, literally the best show I have ever seen, and i used to be a tour manager so seen a fair few shows, you said it in one how can anyone top this, ridiculously good, will remember it forever!

I was super hyped to see Sleep Token in Hamburg. It was definetely worth it, and Bilmuri won themself a new fan, amazing show!
Even just the beginning piano in Euclid makes me start crying… I barely could listen 5 seconds in while watching this video before I almost broke down in tears… I hope someday I can see them live, and I’m so excited to see what else they have in store

Saw it on Tuesday last in Manchester. It was a great evening
Saw them in Birmingham, both bands absolutely nailed it. Amazing show!!
Glad to hear it was that good.
I'll be going to the one on Tuesday. Can't wait!

I was there last night too! It was incredible. I’m still on the come-down from it. Sleep Token absolutely deserve the download headline slot 🖤
Was there with my wife. It was so epic and theatrical. 💥💥🌹
the fact that Johnny has managed to come across TWO drummers on the level of Josh Manuel and Xavier is UNREAL.

I was at the Birmingham show and the performances from both bands where brilliant. Bilmuri in the smaller venue next year will be awesome
You should have seen the Manchester gig, bigger than the O2 in a venue built for live music.
Genuinely beautiful.
I can’t believe Lisa Simpson is so grown up now!
I was there and I loved it
Saw them at about 2pm at Leeds fest I’ll see them on Monday at Leeds arena and then headlining download? I can’t wait it’s going to be special

Disappointed I wasn’t able to get any merch due to payday not aligning, bet hey, the coin, which I really wanted was unfortunately a little out of my budget.
Soooo gutted I tried to get tickets for Cardiff but they sold out so quickly. I always look forward to your reviews though😊
Going to watch this after Cardiff I think!
Saw them in Frankfurt a few weeks back. Sadly something was really off with bilmuris Drumsound. Still a super cool show tho!
you were literally about 8 rows in front of me and my daughters!! thats insane
I was in tears with Euclid. When he finished TMBTE and started riffing in the key of Euclid the tears just flowed!
Which ovo set list did you prefer (Glasgow ovo was the same as o2)
My big question… is Johnny really an Arsenal fan?
Unbelievably jealous.
This ain't about no Bill Murray.
So. Freaking. Jealous....
Sadly you’ll have to find another band as there is never an arena experience like seeing a new band with a passionate audience at a little venue..
@largeformatlandscape I know, Arena's are my least favourite places to see bands.
My favourite gig this year... Unprocessed at Deaf Institute. Tiny venue but amazing atmosphere.
@@Jvmachine I want to see Tallah but they don't play in Europe much and definitely not in Scotland...
Oh, and have you got your ticket for Electric Callboy yet? Playing 11/11/25 at Ally Pally. Should be corker of a gig! 🥳🤘🏻🩷
