Hi Katie this hike looks gorgeous.. I'm only about 5 minutes in but I was wondering if you happen to know if there are any other hikes that might be similar but in an area that's not as hot I hear McCall is going to be in the 90s for the next few days it's Tuesday the 16th.. I'm in Boise .. so I can go sun valley or McCall areas . Or maybe I'll just wait until it cools a bit but wanting to go out this week.. thanks

I’m not super familiar with the hiking in McCall since we just visit for vacation every few years, but I suggest just waking up super early to beat the heat. That worked well for us 😊

I live in Boise. Goose Creek Falls is hike near McCall is a good one. Steve Marchant has some good hiking books for Boise and surrounding areas. Ridge to rivers is also a good website for local trails in Boise. The earlier the better with the warmer weather. I hope this helps and enjoy the outdoors.
