1 million elixir is my favourite of my entire collection, cause I like sweet scents. I don't like the Sauvage line, BUT since the sauvage elixir smells totally different than the rest I will definitely try it next time!
I am not surprised, they are both good scents. And certainly everyones opinions and taste are theirs alone. However, with that being said one millions should target the demographics of under 30 more with its playful sweetness. Whereas Sauvage elixir takes elements from the 80s and mixes into something that is new and modern. It’s easy to see why Sauvage elixir is going to be more appealing for those that are a little older. Not everyone will agree with me on this and yes I would bet Money if you did a blind testing on a large group of people that this holds true.
It just depends. Guests in this videos are from 20-30’s and they picked the ones they liked. Sauvage has been pretty hit or miss with every guest so far.

Always do paper because it presents a neutral playing field. It’s also how the perfumers test fragrances. Roja dove did a post about why a few months back.

you gotta put skin chemistry into consideration because based off of me I got too many compliments with elixir from only women. i got both and elixir is by far the more compliment getting yet nuanced perfume. 10/10 prefer it more

Well I tried both of these at Macys, and I liked One Million Elixar but Sauvage Elixar I hated! My thing is that I have to like it 1st,because if I don't, it doesn't make me feel confident to be around woman. Plus I tried One Million Parfum and liked it better than the One Milion Elixar!
bought a sauvage elixir decant when it first came out. Sprayed it on my skin and for the next 12 hours I realized I messed up. That scent gets annoying fast. Smells like it could have been Drakar Elixir. Too loud and too different from what most enjoy in the air.

No, it doesn't. This scent was literally invented from scratch in the last decade. Your grandpa might have worn lavander barbershop fragrances but not this. Your fiance needs better taste.

I get it when people call Beau De Jour 'grandpa smell' (I sill love it), but this scent is so modern to my nose, and young women are constantly asking me what it is. Ofc these things are subjective but I've tried vintage scents and they didn't have anything like this.
It's interesting two girls said they would wear 1 million themselves. I agree it's far more unisex than Savauge elixir which is on the extreme masculine end of the spectrum.
I'm wearing Sauvage elixir for 2023 aswell as a bit of Givenchy gentlemen boisee but everytime they smell Paco rabane and they react the way they do I feel like I should have given it a chance I havent even smelled it .
As usual I am with Jade on this matchup. The dry down on one million is classy and manly. IMO more versatile than the OG. Has a more modern take on appealing masculine fragrances.
Elixir is not a good fragrance to test this way. Everyone hates it on first try if they aren't a fan of cinnamon super sweet bombs. Its magic is in the silliage. Most complimented fragrance I ever owned, and most addicting once you get a taste for it.
They just preferred One million elixir in comparison. Didn’t mean they didn’t like it (though some didn’t), but they preferred one over the other. It’s a preference choice for the ladies

Great video jeff I got both bottles from that French website for a steal and I must say I prefer 1 million elixir I get this powdery pineapple smell which is amazing but I know there’s apple instead of pineapple in 1 million elixir As for sauvage Elixir I got hubba bubba bubble gum tape when I first smelled it but then the more I wore it I got to pickup the licorice note and just a Christmas vibe
i smelled elixir at my local macys a while ago but wasnt overly impressed with it for the price, i guess i need to go back and try it again. then again ive considered getting some MFK scents and this is far cheaper in comparison.
50/50 is what I get wearing Elixir. Those that love it really love it, and those that don’t have no problem telling me either. It does seem to grow on people though.

Elixir is one of the most expensive designers. It’s definitely not something I would blind buy, so see if you can sample it first. It fits best in the fall winter, and cooler spring. It’s a nice scent, but it’s super bold and you only need 1-2 sprays. So test it out first 🙌😊

I knew it. Voted 1 Million yesterday on the Live. The fragrance community hypes up Sauvage Elixir but women don't seem to love it. I had a sample of 1 Million Elixir and I like the price and smell, but to me it has similarities to Eros.

Sauvage elixir is a 1-2 spray fragrance. Less is more with this one. 1 million elixir you can do that 4-6 range. Depending on what you are doing.
