100% agree. I remember when 2008 came out and I thought finally, they’ve caught up somewhat to the likes of Madden. Yet here we are 15 years later and not only has it not improved, it’s actually regressed. I mean, how fucking useless are the gameplay creators of this shit? There will be thousands of rugby/gaming fans out there who could offer legitimate advice and the game would become instantly better. Look to Madden and get some people who understand the game of rugby and you’re already half way fucking there to improving this shitshow tenfold.
Not sure about the AI Fullback in this game dont even try to tackle at times. Hope they fix this

I just bought that game for $10 and let me tell you something, it isn’t even worth $10!! The graphics, modes and mechanism of this game is horrible.

You only say that because it has EA on it, even though they only published it, they didn't develop it. The players warp all over the place, there is no physics in 08.

I know EA is majorly flawed, but as a football (probably soccer to you lot) fan, the FIFA games are infinitely better than this shite. And that's despite them still being seriously behind where they should be too. I genuinely feel bad for you more hardcore rugby fans having to accept these games as the pinnacle of rugby sims.

EA would make a killing IMO if they were to relaunch a rugby game.
graphics are trash even in 4k UHD this far into the future like bruh its 2022, gameplay is decent, and the features are decent. not enough for me to buy again. just my opnion though.

Serious question. Can you speed up and slow down the gameplay on this game? When the players are running around on this video, it looks sped up. Just wondering if you can adjust the speed, or is this just how it is? I haven't got the game, but was thinking of getting it
Its just the developers idea of how running looks like, damn terrible.

I'm sure it'll be entertaining for a few months... but just can't get inthralled, choppy, robotic, scrums are beyond bizarre, tough game to recreate of course, but least add sum more realistic turf, weather, different styles of international teams, etc... I dunno

The pass at 1.34 out of the ruck, the pass that travels the entire width of the pitch, soon as I saw that I knew this was gonna be utter dog shit. Aside from the graphics that is. Then the pass at 2.47. Why, why would an all blacks player throw that high looping pass missing out 3 men that he could have passed to?

Rugby is a complicated game than most with so many rules. That is why it is diificult to create a co hesive game. How many times do we get competitive real matches.
