So good to see you back, i remember you from the arm wars days and really awesome to see you back at it in this time where armwrestling gets more and more attention
I wonder which version of Lars would win in a supermatch, this one or the bulked one. He's more endurable now, not sure where his strength is. Honestly I'm not sure what his biggest win from the bulk era is, all I know is he looked good practicing with Devon (after Devon had been on the table for a while), and John was able to beat him as the final boss after pinning a bunch of people in a row, oh and Lars has won the Arnold which is big
Imagine Lars and the sideguy look at you like 22:34 and 23:17 , nonstop Personally Id fountain the pee out of myself Are all northern people vikingey like this? They are so badass and scary for sure, esp. for equatorial people like us whor small
Lars is tall and lean like Devon, great to see him use similar technique as Dev. Open toproll with pronation through the frame, take control of the hand and then commit the shoulder to pin.
Given the weight difference, Lars stopping Heta-Morris an inch from the pad is WILD. That's unbelievable strength. One of the most impressive things I've seen in the sport. Imo this match was the best one of the night.
I really think Maate should have won the first round when Lars did a little elbow lift on the way to very quickly being very-much pinned. That should not have saved him. Wouldn't have changed the outcome, but still. Awesome match.
Yep. WAL running foul system eliminates that. Why people don’t use WAL true running foul system is beyond me especially if we wanna reach new eyes. Fouls should never ever save the person who is losing.
29:52 round 5, Lars also appeared to elbow foul himself same time with Heta Morris. From this video camera angle, we can't clearly see elbow position of Heta Morris (he looks ok) but Lars's elbow looks very out of the pad. IMO, at least, this one should be 2 athletes both get elbow off the pad and it should equalized the call, no foul. When I watched to this timecode 29:52 I thought the elbow foul called for Lars and surprise Hristo called it for Heta Morris.
@@Dmgolfer22 - I like running fouls, but only if the foul is enough to warrant a running foul. So microscopic elbow bobbles for example are ignored. Also if the opponent does a huge elbow foul, intentionally taking a running foul to get into a really good position to drain you, then that would be a straight-up foul (which would be determined by like, obvious position gained, via the foul). Then if one KEEPS their elbow off the pad, to by-pass the running foul and go straight to a foul-foul, to get the restart, that's insane and should be considered as them stopping pulling, and they lose the round. I say. Running fouls can really sap all the energy out of pullers, and then there's a huge advantage for the pullers with more endurance or who are being more efficient. So they shouldn't be handed out like candy. John Brzenk likes foul-restarts, but that also means he has to beat the opponent twice every single round, because they essentially have a free-life to use up. Which does make more sense to have fouls in a losing position be a loss, if it's going by restart-fouls... to make it harder for them to intentionally go for a foul-restart... I just don't think that should mean that slips right above the pad should equal a win/loss.
@@3enjamin - Yea Lars came off the back before he finished slipping. Though I think there should be some leway with slipping. Slipping is very fast and messy, and it sucks to see calls made based on that, unless it's very obvious. Same with slips right above the pin-pad, I think they should just get the slip and go to straps. I hate the foul in a losing position rule. Denis Cyplenkov started hooking a lot more after he was losing to people who would use speed to get him just above the pin-pad and then the opponent intentionally slips, and then the ref gives them the victory because it looks like Denis fouled to escape being pinned (or slipped either way), when in reality he wasn't going to be pinned, and would have came back if the other guy held on (not that they SHOULD hold on). Harder to slip a hook.
Lars has insane power he reminds me kinda of devon similar build. That dudes breathing never even changed. Thats crazy. His cardio it un-worldly . He should train with larratt. I actually bet on lars. I was happy to see him pull it off. The guys crazy strong.
Wow im new to Lars' armwrestling career...how much potential does this cat have aye? Sheez...and hes got a DEEP....DEEP...gas tank it seems. Huge fan of his now. And a great fight given by The Beast too 💪 I have to say the Aussie AW and coach Ray were entrrtaining as hell too, theyre really getting good at it. I love seeing the guys that been around coming along with the sports success.
Fun fact regarding Lars endurance: He has/had a company in Norway that earned a lot of money, snowplowing and digging cabins out of the snow. He was basically shoveling snow 10-12 hours a day. Probably been favorable to his endurance😆
Note tho this is still "not very technical Lars". Imagine he start again armwrestling with full comitment, and get mentoring from good master such as Mindaugas Tarasaitis (HWMAW)
Some calls were incorrect, there were instances where Lars was pinning Morris and just second before the pin Morris get elbow foul in losing position and they should had counted as a pin and instead they restart all over again. Lars must have elbows of pure f*ckin steel with so much restarts, holy f*ck !
Thx for all the support☺️
Well done champ, hope to see more of you soon 💪
Congratulations. That was a smart move going for the top roll.👍💪
So good to see you back, i remember you from the arm wars days and really awesome to see you back at it in this time where armwrestling gets more and more attention
Your Cardio is impressive!
🫵🏻🔥🔥💯💯
Round 3 and 4 Lars looked just like Devon. I want to see more of him. Looked amazing and technical.
I was going to say the same thing ...
His open top roll looked as natural as it could be.
Yeah and the transition to shoulder commitment after taking the hand is classic Devon. Lars is even built similar to Devon (tall, lean and lanky).

I thought the same, smooth calm catch on the hit and slowly takes him to the pad after controlling the wrist.
Absolute banger of a match, honour to call it
This was an awesome match. Who would have thought that the flop wrist presser would top roll the top roller?
Maateiwarangi really needs to work on pronation and wrist
Lars is the man i wanna see more of.
The way he looked at Mate was badass
Imagine Lars and the sideguy look at you like 22:34 and 23:17 , nonstop
Personally Id fountain the pee out of myself

Lars is very very strong, This was 6 awesome rounds, hope to see more of Lars in the near future 😎
Lars is like devon not as good but he's tall great endurance and table iq. What a monster
Modern day Viking vs Māori Warrior, what's not to like. Amazing performance by both men.
Lars is tall and lean like Devon, great to see him use similar technique as Dev. Open toproll with pronation through the frame, take control of the hand and then commit the shoulder to pin.
The dudes a unit. Crazy strong his breathing never even changed.
Lars is insanely strong while being super athletic. Very dope match!
Given the weight difference, Lars stopping Heta-Morris an inch from the pad is WILD. That's unbelievable strength. One of the most impressive things I've seen in the sport. Imo this match was the best one of the night.
Mate is one of those classic examples of heavier not necessarily equalling stronger. I think he carries far too much weight, and it's a detriment.
Lars is a lean mean fighting machine. I was surprised by his strength in many positions.
Fantastic match, best one. Think that Lars surprised everyone when he did not use his press. Hope to see him again soon! 👏👏👏

Yeah the Beast! well done both fighters, you've come a long way, brother Heta.. been a fan of yours for years
Lars casually descending from the mountains to look badass and armwrestle and then just leave
Lars has insane power he reminds me kinda of devon similar build. That dudes breathing never even changed. Thats crazy. His cardio it un-worldly . He should train with larratt. I actually bet on lars. I was happy to see him pull it off. The guys crazy strong.
saw an old video with devon and lars sparring so they have met ;D
They've practice pulled a few times over the years.
I like the fact this channel does not mute the entrance music
They probably took that into accout and choose the music that they have license to use in youtube as well.
Lol Lachlan saw Rays text you can see him ask Maati “you have a hook?” And Maatis like “naahhhh”.
I havent seen much of Lars in the recent years but remember him giving some of the best in the world a run for their money back in the day!!!
Lars what an athlete
doctor, tennis instructor, policeman and now arm wrestler... What a talent
Proud of coach Maateiwarangi Heta Morris he did Aotearoa Proud!
Wow im new to Lars' armwrestling career...how much potential does this cat have aye? Sheez...and hes got a DEEP....DEEP...gas tank it seems. Huge fan of his now. And a great fight given by The Beast too 💪

Lars pulls like Devon 😲
Why does Aussie armwrestler always look like he just got jumped
Lars needs a you tube channel. So we can all check out his training and progress so we can hype the machine up. He immediately likable.
I'm glad to see Lars ist in a good shape.
Helt fantastisk! Nice come back for Lars Rørbakken 💪💪💪
Endelig en dansker i spotlight
@@magnusvaabenladefoged1404 svensk
Maatei has really short arms. Going to be hard to overcome that in his weight class.
This is like an alternate timeline where a viking came to meet an islander
Damn Lars took Devons bleeding technique that 3rd round
loving these intro interviews keep it up team
Lars using his press to get to the straps, then all back and outside to catch the big kiwi and then win via top roll! 👌
thanks folks , the show was incridible
Fun fact regarding Lars endurance: He has/had a company in Norway that earned a lot of money, snowplowing and digging cabins out of the snow. He was basically shoveling snow 10-12 hours a day. Probably been favorable to his endurance😆
Lars' VO2max in shoveling must be insanely high, guessing easily above 60.
@@pupper5580 Maybe, anything over 60 would be phenomenal for his age and weight
I was very im(pressed) by Lars!
Haven’t seen Lars in a while and he looks way slimmer.
Also, great to see him do something other than flop press.
Крутой матч. Ларс молодец! Грамотно отборолся!
Refs really need to pay attention to the shoulders. Just look at 20:34
9.33
My god.. I didn't even notice it at first. That was disgusting. What are they doing??
Pulling like Devon
the host looks like he just woke up from a hungover
Love seeing Lars make a comeback!
Awsome match💪🏼💪🏼 hoping Lars will show up in KOT 9. Fun to see him toprolling now😄😄
we need more of lars.
Ray about EVERYONE: "id like to see him go into hook"
A MUCH heavier Maateiwarangi throwing everything he had at Lars and Lars's breathing didn't change at all. What on earth
Awesome match ,one of the most interesting in the card
Maateiwarangi must know important people. How else could he have Gerard Butler in his corner!
It should be me the first to comment that.. 😂
Damn Lars had his shoulder way over the center on some of those starts.
the OG coming thru
Спасибо!
Rorbakken is a Kane of arm wrestling 😊
Maatis walkout was pretty fuckin epic
lars vr jerry would an amazing battle of pressers lol really curious to see how it would go
TH-cam algorithm boosting comment 💪
... crazy, that a presser would be so keen to toproll!
Why do we have to suffer this Aussie Armwrestler guy?
Интересно было бы посмотреть Робакена против Ларрата. Они очень похожи по физическим данным. :)
Best match of this event.
after the warm up Maateiwarangi Heta - Morris is out of breath
Shoulder crossing 😊the centre line is a warning?
This commentator looks like a mad scientist.
This is a combat sport!!! OMG HE SAID THE F WORD! 😂
want see Rørbakken vs Prudnik or Devon
Lars looks badass
Id shit myself even hes talkng with a smile to me
They aint watching lars shoulders, before some of the press starts hes turned at the go
Amazing match 💪💪👍👍
wait, since when does lars top roll and hook? i've only seen him press.
Very beautiful match
Lars - with "veins a junkie would envy" 😅 - won the first round 3:1 😄 Almost like in a tennis match, haha
Great match this was!
Lars learned open toproll from larrat
Note tho this is still "not very technical Lars". Imagine he start again armwrestling with full comitment, and get mentoring from good master such as Mindaugas Tarasaitis (HWMAW)
Fantastic match!
The bro needs to work on his stamina and he'll be the legit beast, wouldn't want to meet him in a tournament setting
Lars vs Lachlan would be epic match
Elbow foul while getting flash pinned rnd1🤷 should of been a win for heta-morris, but wow Lars top rolling💪
Norways version of larratf
Lars condittioning is crazy
Oh, i thought Lars is taller and heavier. Did he lose some weight ?
yes, and also, most people don't look large next to Morris
@@thedrew24he did when he was bigger than Morris. Lol
Good match. Big boy needs to work on his cardio. I’m always confused why the bigger guys avoid this. It’s so important for sustainability
Lars vs Devon or Michael or Chaffee
imatating devon larrat! good pronation
Lars very strong VIKING!
How on earth does Lars start at the front of the pad being that tall?
Good stuff
this tattooed dude can compete with Levan in the future
the new Devon lol
Class, conditioning, style vs MASS and peds
At a quick glance it looks like Walmart version Larratt and Levan
Some calls were incorrect, there were instances where Lars was pinning Morris and just second before the pin Morris get elbow foul in losing position and they should had counted as a pin and instead they restart all over again.
Lars must have elbows of pure f*ckin steel with so much restarts, holy f*ck !
WAL running foul system eliminates that bs.
Gz Dane from swe
Yeah, Matt could be way better its psychological. Also he can build 30 kgs more and that massive frame and he would dominate even Devon i believe.
Great match
His wrist is weak but guns are strong 😅
Mean maori mean..BEAST MODE,next time brother,
Morris is really strong but needs be aggressive get his adrenaline going he big boy just get out down . Needs get behind his hand in 1st couple grips
-4 % body fat.. I love you Jake Lmfao!!!!
Lars was a badass!!
Larrat style impressive to lars
How can they both be labeled as 6”2?
Maybe because they're 20 mm different and an inch is about 25.4 mm I think
@@yeahnahsweetas look at the physical height difference lol am I trippin?
Would be more fun to watch if there were more elbow fouls.
