Wonder and Utopia of the Seas, Oasis class ships, are not able to pass under this bridge and the great belt in Denmark even with funnels fully retracted because both ships are taller than Oasis. Icon of the Seas just made it yesterday under the bridge in Denmark! Nice footage! :)

On the 18th she was under the bridge at 7am and docked by 8am. She had no guests onboard though. Tomorrow when she returns from the test cruise she will have guests to debark so she'll likely follow closer to the listed time for a normal sailing which is listed as docking at 6am.

I know exactly where the port is as we have been to the Tear Drop Memorial quite a few times. You were up early to film this to. Question? Any problems getting into the area that early in the a.m. and parking at the Memorial was not a problem? Thanks again for any info. I'm up in Lodi so not a far ride for me to catch Oasis sailing in again in the future.
No issue. This was my 4th time going to the tear drop. I've been twice for departures and twice for arrivals. The park is technically open dusk to dawn so I was probably right on the edge of the official open time. There is a gate there, but no one actually manages the access, the gates are open 24/7 from what I've seen. When I went to see Quantum's arrival in 2014 it was November and I got there at 4am with sunrise not until 7am and still had no issues then either. I think it's secluded enough that as long as people don't find it and start causing problems no one seems to really care. When I was pulling in I went past the security building and someone that was coming in to work at the dry dock was following me most of the way, but I didn't notice any security making loops through the parking lot by the memorial until after she was docked.
I filmed from the Tear Drop Memorial at Cape Liberty. It's adjacent to the cruise terminal in Bayonne and has it's own parking lot right there with free parking. From the turnpike you are going to want to follow the signs for the cruise port. You actually go right to the Cape Liberty Cruise Terminal and once there you get to a y that leads you through the passenger drop off area, or to the right which goes to the Tear Drop Memorial parking lot. Since it's so close to the terminal it's important to account for departing guests because you will be stuck sitting in the terminal traffic to get to the memorial if there is any.
They received certification from the test sailing, so that would indicate that there were no incidents onboard. Not sure that any ship has failed a test cruise yet, though several have had cases once sailing, often from vaccinated individuals that later tested positive.
I’m not sure what time she will sail. It seems like since Covid ships have been sailing later to give extra time for boarding and provision. I’m sure Henri isn’t going to help thing either. It’s probably going to be 6:00 or later if I had to guess.
TH-cam is being a pain. The video is in full 4K and only the SD version was processed after 24 hours. I've now had to delete it and re-upload again, hopefully this time it will actually process the SD, HD, and 4K versions. Until the HD version is processed I can't let it go live.

9 days after my birthday. When I had Oasis on the 5th, we had to reschedule for the forth time.
