Welcome to our Disney World vlog series 🥰
If you are new to this channel, I'm Shannan - a 28 year old mama & wife and recently I went to Walt Disney World for 2 weeks with my husband Oli (to celebrate his 30th birthday!) and our little boy Buzz who was 14/15 months at the time of our trip.
As a little disclaimer, vlogs for me are the perfect way to capture memories that we can one day show Buzz & any future littlies! I'm in no way a profesh vlogger, it is a hobby that I love and hopefully some of you enjoy watching them along the way too!
My camera isn't the best and trying to vlog with a toddler whilst trying to take in the magic etcetc isn't the easiest task in the world haha so if you're looking for top notch content then I apologise in advance BUT I hope these videos share a little bit of the magic through our eyes in a home video kinda way haha 😆
I've not yet edited all of these vlogs so I'm not quite sure how many there will be but I definitely will be doing some more "sit down" type videos once the vlogs are uploaded such as a WDW haul & a Q&A where I'll answer all of your travelling with a toddler/disney Q's.

Aw loved your vlog. It's so refreshing to watch 'real life' vloggers rather than influencers. We are going in August with BA, staying at AS Music. Your little boy seemed to do really well on the flight.

Ahh so exciting! I think Jan would be a nicer time of year weather wise 🫠 it was sooo hot on our trip - we much preferred Febs weather! Xx

Loved the travel vlog! The flight seemed to go really well with Buzz - any tips? We are travelling with a 11 month old in a couple of weeks xx

So my tips would be:
• most importantly, try not to stress about everyone else around you. Little ones sometimes cry & whinge! I think this was my biggest worry beforehand, annoying people around us but planes are so loud, they definitely diffuse noises anyway and also if people are being grumpy because your baby is crying, that’s on them! Travelling with a baby is stressful enough without stressing about other people around you too 🥰
• lots and lots of snacks! we took fruit/veg pouches, bars, crisps etc
• toys - old & new! We took a few of Buzz’s fave toys (cars!), one of his “that’s not my” books, his stacking cups and then some new bits, a magnet tin which kept him entertained for ages, a small flashing ball and fidget poppers
• I know not everyone agrees with this but an iPad or tablet or even your phone, if you have Netflix you can download their fave shows to watch offline - Buzz loves Cocomelon & Little Baby Bum so we downloaded those
• If your little one has a bottle, try to work it so they can have one on take off & landing so they are sucking and swallowing to help their ears with popping
• we let Buzz walk up and down the aisle a couple of times over the course of the flight, nobody seemed to care (in-fact everyone was smiling at him) and it was good to let him stretch his legs as it was a long flight
• take a change of clothes for you and bubs if possible. We luckily didn’t need it but incase they are poorly or spill a drink or whatever, if it goes on them it’s probably likely to go on you too!
I think that’s everything I can think of for now but I’m sure it’ll be absolutely fine 🥰💛

Hi 🥰 just wondering what you did about a car seat whilst there? Having an absolute nightmare trying to sort it out x
Hi! We got really lucky and came across a taxi driver who had a proper infant car seat! There were others we saw but they had like an older age car seat and said they were for 2+ - it is so stressful though!
I think I’d definitely consider taking my own if I had another baby with me next time but for Buzz the age he is now, you can book an Uber with a car seat for an extra $10 so we’d probably do that. We didn’t really get taxis much at all though, I think just twice with him x

hi lovely! so sorry about taking ages to reply! honestly we just followed his lead! stayed up as late as we all felt able to on the first night and then up and out when we woke up the first morning which suited us as it meant we got to the park nice and early. he went back to having 2 naps rather than 1 most days because they ended up being broken and things but luckily he's pretty chilled so wasn't bothered! I'm sure you'll be absolutely fine, I think these littlies adjust better than us most of the time haha! xx
