Can someone please tell me, why is he cutting away parts of the kit? Like he cut off the chrysanthemum crest at the bow of the ship too. Why?
When?
He's probably got a photo etched chrysanthemum that will look much better. Traditionally, the Japanese added that emblem as the last step before a ship was launched, so I guess that's the last thing he'll glue on.
