The prep covered in the video is key. Can't have wax or silicone from furniture polish present. The only other requirement is have fun with your project and share your results with us! 😆 🤣 😂

@@crystalacofficial thank you! I will do that! Can any polyurethane be mixed with the Crystalac paints? I just got my kit and I had a tub of B.T. I bought last year and sort of forgot about it. I had to take a break from tumblers to work on other projects but wanted to get away from epoxy when I started back up.

@Jana - The Crafty Realtor Nope. No 2 polyurethanes are made the same. The word Polyurethane can be 1000s of different combinations of products. Some oil, some heavy solvent, and some waterbased. Some are formulated for specific types of projects and others not. Some can be used for exterior projects, some not.

That looks good. I wonder, can you thin this product down to spray through an spray gun or airbrush?

In most cases there is no need to thin our products. All work very well with spray equipment. If you feel like you need to you can use our Reducer/Retarder to thin the viscosity.

I have some wooden cutting boards I would like to decorate and finish so this is a great help. I have a brand new tub of Britt one I purchased a while back but never opened. Can I mix coloring to it?

You can. Just make sure the color is compatible with water. Also, when adding color don't add to much. Adding to much color to try and achieve one coat coverage may cause you issues. You want to do at least 3 to 4 coats.
