Hmmm...I haven't seen that before. Are you on Tableau Public or Tableau Server? If it's server, then maybe you've set the viz to private and viewers will need a password or something. If not, try re-saving to Tableau Public from Tableau Desktop under a new name and copy the code again. Kind of like rebooting your computer, that seems to fix a lot of my problems with Tableau Public.
Is Tableau providing a collection of charts that we can call from an Api or something then embed the generated html to our project? something more dynamic not manual way or copy pasting way?

But the class that I use this video for is a very basic "Into to Information Systems" course taken by undergraduate business school students. So I don't get into APIs here.
Hi, prepared a dashboard using Tableau Desktop. I want to place the dashboard (in a live manner) to a web application. However, I do not want to publish the dashboard to Tableau online for privacy issues. How can I do this? Do I need to install Tableau Server to a local machine(I am guessing). I will appreciate any guidance. Regards
Yes, whenever you are talking about sharing your dashboard, either you have to go online or have an on-premise server. For testing you can install trial version of server but make sure you have machine with minimum hardware requirement. Also there would be additional network related stuff to consider(Firewall, Proxy etc)
Is there any way to embed tableau dashboards in Android application? I have tried web view in Android. which doesn't look good. In enterprise, if we have server license it's better to Tableau Javascript API to customize dashboard. Please share your views

if you extract this code from tableau public, do you still need the dashboard in tableau public? Or can it be deleted?

I just attempted to "save as" onto Tableau public, however, it says that the server I am publishing to does not permit external database connection...
If you are trying to upload a file that is associated with an enterprise server, tableau will not let you publish it to public.

Good question; yes it can. But not through Tableau Public. You'll need Tableau Server for that.
