- Enjoy a ride on the Kilimanjaro Safaris at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in 4K UHD 60fps! It was a pretty chilly day(highs in the low 60s). Lightning Lane was used for this video, which took about 5 minutes. The stand by line at the time was a 65 minute wait. This was filmed on January 17th 2022 from around 2:15pm - 2:45pm.

I love this so much!!! It’s best to go on this experience at night! The animals are incredibly active around sunset.
Yes, I remember riding this a few times at night! Unfortunately, Disney stopped nighttime rides. The sun sets at around 5:55pm right now but the last safari leaves at 5pm. Not sure why they made that change :/

We were on the safari once at dusk and the 2 female lions woke up and started roaring. We went sent the video out people thought they were animatronics. haha, we told them it was perfect timing.
Haha that is awesome! I saw them roar a couple of times before and both times my heart almost stopped lol

One of AK's best..guides can be hit or miss but this guide was great and informative. I miss the collapsing bridge section. What happened to it?! Great vid 4K.

Yes definitely! This was a phenomenal safari ride overall. I just miss the lions! I haven’t seen them in so long now, not sure why they haven’t been out. I was getting ready to send Andrew your comment but quickly went to check if the castle is still in stock and unfortunately it’s already completely out. This sucks, I really hate what TH-cam does with the comments sometimes

please remain seated at all times, keep your hands, arms and children inside the "truck".. i know its minoot but the disney touch... They would keep in show and say inside the safari vehicle.
this is just a small small smalll detail in the grand scheme of things but when she said that, it didnt scream the disney show that once was there.
