- Set Two - Caleb Klauder & Reeb Willms perform an all acoustic duo concert in the living room of a California farmhouse as part of the Deep End Sessions series, December 9, 2017. Reeb Willms, vocals & guitar; Caleb Klauder, vocals, mandolin, fiddle & guitar. This beautiful performance was a benefit concert for those who lost houses in the Thomas Fire in Ventura County. *Plein aire painting on the living room wall is by Sidney Dakins, circa 1910. Dakins experienced the San Fransisco fire of 1906 and to our knowledge is the only California plein aire painter to paint an actual wildfire. Film directed and produced by David Bunn; audio engineer & DP, Stephen Schauer; Cameras Cody Edison, Alex Blair & Susanna Battin. ©Deep End Sessions 2018.

I have to tip my hat to the sound man on these sessions. I've never heard better acoustic reproduction. Never! Congratulations to Stephen Schauer for the sound. it's as good as it gets and is a true representation of the instruments and the vocals. Bravo.

The sound person either makes or breaks the session. Not every one that twists a few knobs qualifies. There are sound men and then there are knob twisters.. Unfortunately there are more of the latter!

The real hero is the sound man. It's like CD grade sound. A wonderful concert and clinic and clinic in music made right.
I have a couple of their CD's, and the sound on these videos is much better quality! I love these videos so much. I need a fix of their music every day. 😁👍❤️

When Reeb is watching Caleb's eyes while he's singing and playing, she starts grinning! You can read what she's thinking in bold, italic type in her eyes! What a great pair these two are!

The very first song, You didn’t have to go, gave me chills!
"Last of My Kind," is such a beautiful ballad, and so sweetly sung and played. As is the follow-up written by Caleb. It seems to me as if his song writing taps into the soul of Hank Williams. I often think they were his compositions.
