- Germany has rejected a proposal that sought to establish a no-fly zone over Ukraine with the help of NATO members to target Russian missiles. The proposal was floated amid Ukraine’s increasing struggles to ward off Russian missile strikes. Berlin, however, said the idea threatened to draw NATO into the war. Earlier, Germany had refused to provide Ukraine with Taurus missiles. Watch this video for more information.

Zelensky campaigned and won on the promise of making peace with Russia as against the incumbent president Poroshenko who was killing ethnicRussians in Eastern Ukraine.
