I couldn't wipe the stupid grin off my face. Lol. The fact that the daughter wanted this so much for her parents speaks volumes about all of them. I love how the son-in-law likes to hang out with his bonus dad. I'd love that porch, too!!! It's all gorgeous!!! Ben and Erin always customize the home to fit the new owners. There's always so much thought that goes into each renovation.
I took care of my mom until the day she passed away. She was my best friend and was a blessing to my autistic child. These people are so wonderful for understanding that family is everything ❤️
Me too. I took care of my grandparents, parents, my God mother who is my Aunt until they all passed. It is such a gift to be able to live with family. It really blesses a home to have that kind of love in it for all generations to come.
I wish it wasn’t so hard to find a home suitable for multiple generations! I have been looking and they just aren’t out there. I’m even not loving any designs for building either. This home turned out perfect for their needs. Lovely, as usual.
Grandma's reactions are priceless! I love people who when they love something they have no problem showing it! Congratulations family! GREAT JOB, Ben and Erin!
I'm so happy that Ben and Erin keep the original floors as often as they can instead of covering them up with cheaper flooring like remodelers on other HGTV shows do (Flip or Flop is a good example of that). It looks like they kept the original cabinets and painted them which is much more cost efficient and keeps them out of a landfill. We painted the cabinets in our house and it was a lot cheaper than replacing them and they look great.
I got a big smile when I read your comment. I'm older (70) and am more mellow and open to change than I was in my 20s and 30s. I think this is the way most older people are from my experience. We just go with the flow and don't stress out about things like decor like we did when we were younger. "Everything is copacetic" would describe us, I think.
My Grandma and Grandpa lived in a three generation home with us until their passing. They taught me so much. They are not hard to please. They want their loved ones to be independent but not over spend, so they often don't give their opinion. Maybe that's what you see. They want to make sure their loved ones are safe and sustainable.
Wish I could see the entire episode. Ben and Erin outdid themselves. Love the screened porch allowing air flow. Loved the new bath and painted kitchen. Would you please share the shade of blue on the cupboards and brand of paint? Thank you.
This being the age of colorful language (e.g. f-bombs, etc.), I’d love to listen in to the orientation for new clients re what they CAN’T say. I welcome all the good-goshes and golly-gees.
@@sharvo6yes, it's their signature and it irks me when they do that. However, now I know that those are just staging furniture & decor. The owners can buy them if they wish to. The house is usually turned over empty or almost empty (except for Ben's custom pieces or Erin's artwork). They can also change the orientation of the bed when the house gets turned over to them.

Great episode. These hardworking folks deserve a happy, gracious, retirement near their daughter and grandchildren.

Imagine being able to live near three generations of family. Awesome 😊
Wow! Someone actually tiled over that beautiful hardwood floor. Looks great now.

How utterly lovely, may they have many good years of happiness and enjoyment in their beautiful home and may nana enjoy her retreat to the outmost!
Oh my goodness...Nana's reaction was precious. Such a beautiful family. May your family enjoy this home for many years. ❤
This brought tears. So lovely.
It’s always hard to impress older people but Napiers did it anyway.❤ great job…

@@happydays1336 I agree! I think young adults harder to please than Seniors.

I didn’t mean to disrespect any seniors. I was talking only by my experiences with my family’s older people. But yeah I get it everyone is not same.
That turned out so well. Beautiful!
Of course Ben & Erin nailed it! ❤❤❤ They ALWAYS do. Many blessings on them.
AWW, my eyes were sort of damp at the end 🥺 A great reno for such a sweet 4-generation family.
This is the same design as the house I grew up in NJ! Must have been shown in a magazine at the time since I find it in different states.
Ben and Erin did it again, stunning family home❤️🔥❤️🔥

Deberían considerar barras de seguridad en los baños para propietarios jubilados. Tarde o temprano van a necesitar ese apoyo.
Multigenerational…. wow ❤

So awesome, so Beautiful!!!
Liked everything, except the cooktop so close to pathway.

"Colorful language" is a very polite way to describe it.
🌟🤗🤗Esplêndido❣️🇧🇷❣️🌟
It's interesting how they take a generic house and turns it into - an updated generic house. Basically.

House too much
Please stop putting beds in front of windows. Really the worst.
It is a signature of the napiers; not going to change.
