When Helldivers 2 came out I noticed a lot of my songs got added to gaming playlists, with that came all the requests to do a song so here is "For Liberty". I planned to get this one out months ago but life has been quite busy. Enjoy!!!!

Edit - So apparently there has been a change to TH-cam's algorithm recently that has heavily reduced the reach of music. It seems every music channel is being effected and getting a fraction of the views they normally do. When I checked TH-cam studio it showed this video wasn't even being shown to an audience who likes metal or helldivers. It was purposely shown to an audience with zero interest in either so the CTR plummets. Not ideal : /
Helldivers is basically 40K before the A.I revolution.

Eh. I would not say that. There Helldivers is much more primitive then what the Golden Age is portrayed as.
Plus, on the topic of fitting in as the past, the FTL is also a factor that stops Helldivers for fitting with Warhammer. Real space FTL travel by methods of space time warping are incompatible with the backstory of 40k, with the Age of Strife happening because of the Warp Storms cutting out the human colonized worlds and destorying all interstellat comunication, trade, and travel. I can see the Golden Age having many technologies, but FTL methods not based on the Warp is not one I can see, thanks to how devastating the destruction of Warp travel was for the Golden Age mankind. This also stops basicallly all stories with real-space FTL for humans(like Star Trek, Mass Effect or Helldivers) from fitting in the past of 40k.

How do you even see dislikes? I had to go deep into TH-cam Studio to find them. it says 4 but I'm surprised there aren't more considering the audience TH-cam sent this too.
@@LorcanWard There’s a chrome extension called ‘Return TH-cam Dislike’ which allows you to see dislikes again. But it’s only a rough estimate, so the number shown in TH-cam Studio is likely more accurate.

A pleasant surprise to see a song about Helldivers. I am curious what is next. A song about Halo? Mass Effect? Destiny? Warframe? Half-Life? XCOM?
Yeah, you might first have to finish with Warhammer, but I am curious about what is next.
I have about 20 more Warhammer songs after I finish the legions so might be a while before I finish 40k. I’ve other songs about settings like the Witcher, dark tower and mad max that I’d love to record.

Blood Angels and two more Legion songs are coming soon. There was just a few delays getting parts recorded. The BA is one of my favourite I’ve done so I’m really looking forward to releasing it.

I know that this is a Helldivers song but can I request The Legion of the Damned for 40K at some point? And maybe a Halo song?
I never got into Halo, mainly cause I didn't have an xbox growing up but I could write a Legion of the Damned song in the future.

I've penned a few lyrics for a Thunder Warrior song. It needs to be really full go glory but also a tragic undertone while the POV needs to be in the unknown about what is to come. A challenge for sure.
