Great! I have been meeting with QuickSurface now for a few weeks and do plan to do a lot of content on the channel for the Lite version. The Pro version will likely be in courses on our site but still up in the air.

Looks MUCH MUCH easier than Zeiss GOM inspect - THANKS!!! very timely with the MetroX Shipping soon as well.

Yeah. With a more prismatic shape its a bit easier as well. I used this one cause it was a little odd with no great references.

Thx, new to scanning. Wondered why my models were allows skewed haphazardly. Had no idea about this software. Always a PITA trying to align in fusion.

Yeah depending on the scanner you use. For example Shining3d scanners (at least the higher up ones) can be aligned in ExScan software provided with the scanner. If using a Revopoint or Creality scanner that isn't possible. I do have a video on how to do this in Fusion by creating new planes, but its much easier in a dedicated piece of software like QuickSurface Lite.

Thank you man, nice video !
i tried to download it, but you need to pay for all version, my doubt is, after the free trial of PRO can i still use it?

After the trial no you won't be able to. Revopoint sells the LITE version. if you bundle with a scanner or even just by itself they offer a discount.

If you buy the SaaS license its around $500/year. If you just buy it outright as a perpetual license i think its around $2000.
I will be doing more content on the LITE version soon and hopefully that will help decide if its worth it. It does a lot more than just align to a coordinate system, that is just the question i get asked the most :)

first became aware of quicksurface on the revopoint homepage and used the free trial version for some time and came to the conclusion that it’s a very intuitive sketch based RE program with a steep learning curve .For me as a private user who only occasionally works on projects like these it is easy to handle, straight structured and enough powerful to get suitable results. Because of the high selling price of the pro version - this is the only option for me - I asked quicksuface if they offer special conditions for private not commercial use and I was made a very attractive offer for 1 year of support and lifelong use of the pro version. I am very satisfied with quicksurface, their regular updates, the perfect support and the friendly and courteous conversation😊😊😊 thx

Is there a more affordable way to do this without using a free trial or having to pay 500 euro/year?

I have a video on aligning in Fusion but its not precise. GOM inspect was free but not sure it is anymore.
