Lloyd is amazing and sounds SO good! Singer nails it! Looks like Randy Mason on drums and Rod Riley on guitar...two of Nashville's finest. This is 'REAL' country music folks!
Of all the famous Lloyd's in the world, Lloyd Green is the first one who comes to mind whenever someone says, "Lloyd." And listening to him here reminds me why that's true.
To all the EXPERT critical listeners: this is live performing which is very tough. Everyone makes a mistake now and again. It's not a studio where all that can be corrected or fixed. Just enjoy it for it's fine entertainment and quit whining.
You need to listen to mo pitney, you may have a different opinion after you.ve listen to his voice, The voice of an angel and the next country legend ,!!!!
Have you heard Mo Pitney's version of this song? It's flat amazing. Look it up and be prepared to listen to this talented kid sing for several play throughs
To all of those putting the other musicians down, I dont see your butt up there playing with Lloyd. All I see is you sitting in your house running your hole. Rant over.
I agree, those are good musicians. You would be surprised of the credentials of those musicians. It’s not easy to play outdoor gigs. I thought they did a fine job.
If you listen, the drummer is right on the beat. The video is laggin behind and makes it look like he is lagging, but just listen and he is right where he is supposed to be.
Jeff Surratt is the coolest and Lloyd Green rules! 🙂
Nobody does it better than Lloyd Green. The master of the E9th pedal steel guitar.

I first became aware of Lloyd Green back in the '60s, and he's been one of my all-time favourite musicians ever since.

Drummer's all over the place........

I wasn't watching the video and listening to the drummer exactly, I picked up a definite (small) tempo change at around 0.30/34.... :-)
That DRUMMER is Randy Mason one of the best in the world..and used to drum for Merle Haggard and Jimmy Newman.
Trying to hard pal .
Guitar WAY TO LOUD!!!.
That is Rod Riley one of the best guitar players on the planet, and a Nashville staple...he wasn't loud at all...he was just super clear and present.
not too loud, excellent playing
