Smub's ledge trapping game is insane. - You try to airdodge towards the stage he's down tilting you -you try to snap ledge he's doing downward forward tilt to 2 frame. - you try to clank with plasma breath, you get punished -retreating nair covers roll in, get up attack and jump - you try to neutral get up and block you get command grabbed
Me: " I think I'm in the mood for some sick pro level mii brawler gameplay. Lets see it." Mii brawler: Air dodge SDs as a recovery mixup 2 seconds into the match. Me: Ok 👌 Next level. Currently paused the video. About to resume with hopes of trusting the process 🤞
@@Tryton-A-MorrisOh ya! He did great. They both did great. Great match! It took a while, but the riddly eventually found his footing. But mii brawler really made him work for it for sure.
Spoiler Warning Pretty tight set, ChewyHobo was making a lot of flubs (SDing + messing up the up b kill confirm) and could of easily won this grands. Im shocked he flip kicked onto stage THREE TIMES in front of smub and each one was punished with a f smash, costing Chewy the stock. Fool me once shame you, fool me twice shame on me, fool me thrice.. bro 😅. Nonetheless both played pretty well I look forward to them battling again. I hope Chewy considers using the command grab side-b in the future too.
It depends what the context is, the tournament is double elimination. There are two people in grand finals and 1 of them has already lost 1 set. If that person beats the other person (who has lost 0 sets up to that point) then we see a “reset” where the score resets to 0-0 and the winner of this best of 5 wins the tournament. It can also mean when the two characters are fighting on stage, and one of them decides to “reset” neutral, or recreate a situation where neither player has a clear advantage
In grand finals, one player comes from winners bracket (never lost a set) and the other comes from losers bracket (lost one set). A reset is when the loser bracket player beats the winner's bracket player in grand finals. Now both players are in loser's bracket. They are the only two players left in double elimination, so their next match is against the same opponent.
the commentator constantly saying, "thats not gonna kill" kind of takes the excitement away in my opinion. Especially when hes wrong. I feel it'll be a little more entertaining with the "maybe it will" factor you know?

great insight
Just normal Ridley things. People play him too linearly so you rarely get to see him get close to max potential
Yeah just normal Ridley things haha
It felt really lame to watch the whole time though, especially cause it feels like Chewy couldn't do anything to get back on the stage the whole time
smub making every ridley main proud

What a set, Smub is a madman w that final sideB.
@@weaponx6345 he risked punish and lost stage control.. lol
But hey, cry more if u want.
Man Smub is different. Clutched the fuck up!
My heart was pounding that last game. Wow
Definitely wanna watch chewy sets again, great brawler play and play in general
If you believe, that's my bro from band. We played French horn together.
@@crummydata928 haha, that's a fun fact I didn't anticipate
Mii Brawler is so underrated
Great match!
What’s the music at 13:05?
0:12 fastest stock ever
Maybe true vertical kill confirms under... idk... 70% were a stupid idea Sakurai

what a nice game for both i prefer SMUBB but that mii fighter is on fire man hes so crazy
Both these guys have great facecams lol that's all I watch
Jump oos -> sideB to punish flame kick?
Too slow
Side b is never fast enough to punish flame kick. Drop shield into walk forward tilt is likely best.
I'm new so question: What is a "reset"?
