Thank you for confirming the new Nylon Sheath w/Metal Rivet Snap holds both bit magazine holders, front and back pockets. 👍🏻

For the surge the surge will fit in the middle both bit kits in the back and the two replacement files/saws in the front.

I just got one of these for my wave cause the Velcro on my original pouch completely wore out. I'm able to fit both bit kits in the front or back sleeve with the flat backs together. It does seem alittle rough on the elastic pulling them in and out. I'm satisfied with it and happy to have a pouch that stays closed.

I’m glad you picked a new one up! I only use one bit kit in mine these days. I just put the bits I normally use into one kit. To this day it’s tight on the elastic still. Thanks for checking out the video!

Good video! You might put in your bit kits in the pockets with their backs facing each other...it will give the tool a touch more space....you could also put a Mag-lite Solitaire where you put your light, & a bit extender on the other side...I have the older sheath with one pocket where I put the sleeve with the metal file & 2 Bosch metal saws...the Surge is big & I can't put a bit sleeve in there....

Thanks for the ideas! I’ve been just carrying just one bit kit lately. But I’ll try them with their backs facing each other. I don’t have any Mag-lites, you like the Solitaire?

I have the ratchet bit extension on one side and my short O pen on the other. I just keep the bits I need in it and the tool.

i got a bit extender from Amazon not made by Leatherman but made for Leatherman bits and tools. It was only 10 dollars.

The Leatherman ratcheting driver broke on me 2 times and I ended up just getting a cheap $10 bit extender off Amazon and it's been fine for my use
