Van tour ~ my Nissan vanette build story. T1D lady

Even as a type 1 diabetic I have never stopped travelling. I bought my van, Vinny a while back but thought it was time to share his conversion.
He was once a tradesmen van covered in paint and dirt, but I knew he had potential.
I’ve recently updated him due to now having the Dexcom g6. I needed a power source outlet to charge my phone and Apple Watch. The upgrade continued and I’ve made some new little touches that I think you will love.
I try to keep to a tight budget and buy 2nd hand goods and up cycle.
When I travel i take my prescription with me. I keep my insulin cool with a little cool box and a frio pack. I always carry ample snacks incase of a low glucose.
I calculate how much insulin I will need for my duration and always carry extra, just in case.
I can’t wait to hit the road and explore more of New Zealand.
