purchased the 8x at argos here in the UK last friday... guys its a winner, i got the blue variant and its stunning, the kirin 710 up until now is working great, no lagging and a real smooth experience with everything fast and fluent. the camera is not bad at all for a midranger , especially the night mode funtion that has blown me away! for only 228 pounds it is a complete bargain, i cannot recommend the 8x enough... dont think... just do yourself a favour and get it.

Emui may be not the best Ui, but it is one of the best optimized custom skin with higly capable custom Kirin processors. Without that EmUi and its software(or AI) optimisation, Huawei/Honor phone's half capabilities are gonna just be wasted. I just hope Huawei makes their UI more intuitive for sure, but not just throw Android One without any calibration and removing some useful features present now.
