O.k. sooooo, looks like I have to address something here. I understand a lot of people are upset with the video I watched, and apparently I should have watched a different version. Let me explain a couple things, and hopefully this will clear up the confusion and negativity. First off, this channel is all about viewer requests. Every single reaction I do comes as a request from viewers and Fanbase members. The requester provides me with a link, a specific link that the requester wants me to watch. If I were to change that link....the specific link that was requested....would that still be their request? No, it wouldn't, it would now be my choice...not theirs, I would have cheated them of their request...a request they have waited patiently for, and that would be unethical in my personal opinion. Secondly, the link that was provided to me turned out to be a dead end. Now, if you didn't watch the entire video (including the beginning...ahem!!! 1:27 in case you missed / skipped it), you missed the part where I explained that I tried to download the video using the link I was provided and it wasn't working. When I went to the actual page, the entire account had been removed and the channel had been terminated. Now...IF you had watched the entire video (especially the beginning...AHEM!!! Again for reference... 1:27 ) you would have heard me explain that, and you would have heard me explain what I did next. So, I did a search for the same song. A list popped up. I looked at the video info to see how many views each video had. I picked the video with the most views out of the top 5. Statistically, a video with a lot of views usually means it's a great video. Is this always the case? No of course not. Unless I check the video myself for quality I would have no idea. Of course, if I check the video quality and the sound quality...that means I have to watch and listen....which spoils the reaction. Now then....can I HONESTLY say that it is a genuine reaction if I watch the video and listen to it and check for sound quality? No. Not honestly. I know a lot of other reactors do that, and then they pretend they've never seen it. I'm not going to do that, I promised myself I would be 100% honest about everything about this channel...because I feel the viewers deserve a channel that is 100% honest and genuine. Anything less...and I'm just like all those other reactors. Lastly....before anyone goes and criticizes the quality of the video, and says things like "You should have watched THIS video" or "Everyone knows this footage is terrible, why didn't you use THIS footage"....where were you? Why didn't you provide me with a link? OH that's right....because you didn't make the request. And since I know nothing about this band really, because I want these reactions to be 100% genuine, honest , and real....I didn't know the footage wasn't that great. I can only go with what I'm provided with, and in this circumstance I had to improvise and make a calculated decision based on statistics. I'm sorry if you don't like the footage I really am...but I had a great time doing it even if the sound quality wasn't that great. I still thoroughly enjoyed the experience. At the end of the day I have ZERO regrets, and if I'm ever faced with this situation again, I'll probably take the exact same actions and make the same decisions based on statistics and best guesses. Hopefully this will clear up the confusion and cease all the negativity. Time will tell. DH
I don't mind that you saw this version first, because their stage presence is much better in this one than Zepp. Sure the audio quality is piss poor, but that means when you finally get to experience the song properly you'll enjoy it that much more!
when they were at this festival, Judas Priest was here. the 2 bands have met. Rob Halford became fan ^^ Lovebites made a cover of Painkiller and rob said it is the best cover he ever heard. No surprise then that before every show of Lovebites. the song just before the concert intro is Diamonds and Rust by Judas Priest.
LOVEBITES - Shadowmaker lyrics : Caught in the noise, my thoughts are destroyed Trapped in the silence, it's so hard to breathe But still I go on, my hunger is strong Hoping that someone will grab my hand Stranded by moonlight I realize the cold of this world Maybe it's too late? No one can save me From all of the darkness and solitude Cry, like shadows of the night I carry all the pain inside to justify why I'm alive Despite going through this hell Cause still my heart has hope No matter if I'm torn apart, I'll play my part Before I drown with secret thoughts of my heart Reckless and fast, how long will I last? Dancing like puppets, I'm empty inside Fighting the fear, and grieving the dear Hoping that someday I'll be repaid Only my echoing heartbeats can prove that I'm here Am I all alone? Even a faint light is too bright for me, I can't see a thing Hide, in shadows I reside I tremble like a heartless soul, no place to go In desolated land knowing no escape But still I wish to live Just waiting for a somebody to notice me Before I fall down to depths of the abyss Caught in the noise, my thoughts are destroyed Trapped in the silence, it's so hard to breathe But still I go on, my hunger is strong Hoping that someone will grab my hand Stranded by moonlight I realize the cold of this world Maybe it's too late? No one can save me from solitude Cry, like shadows of the night I tremble like a heartless soul, no place to go In desolated land knowing no escape But still I wish to live Just waiting for a somebody to notice me Before I fall down to depths of the abyss Like shadows of the night I carry all the pain inside to justify why I'm alive Despite going through this hell Cause still my heart has hope No matter if I'm torn apart, I'll play my part Before I drown with secret thoughts of my heart
i’m glad you still enjoyed it-! this was my second lovebites song too, and it really sold me on them~~ my favorite songs by them are break the wall and edge of the world. the first one more thrashy, the second more like a power ballad. (if you’re gonna react again :P) and any video is good if its not bloodstock lol
I have a TON of requests for LOVEBITES songs in the request que....seriously there's like 12 requests in there all for LOVEBITES. Trust me, there will be more coming on this channel.
This version ISN'T that bad really.... I've heard WORSE and I mean WAY worse during live shows that don't even sound remotely as good as this recording. They guys running the sound for this show SHOULD be shot BUT I've seen much worse! This cut is good enough to make me a fan after only two songs.
Hello David, when is their new material coming to your alter ? Do you wait till the release of the new album or till a live version is available? Would be nice if you reacted to Judgement Day together with your wife 😉 out shortly but already a classic, I didn’t think it could get much better, but boy did they prove me wrong. Can’t wait to hear it live 🤘🎸🎸🤘
You will doubtless hear from any others that the sound quality on this performance sucks. That was not the band's fault however and the only surprise is that it wasn't a complete disaster. Lovebites were supposed to play on a smaller side stage and they set up there intending to do so. The band that was supposed to take this spot on the main stage were delayed en route to the festival however and so Lovebites was bumped up to the main stage to replace them at the last minute. They had to take down all their gear and hump it across to the main stage and set up again there. They were so pushed for time that they had to reduce their set from seven songs to just five and barely had time for even the most basic of sound checks. In spite of these disadvantages and the pressure they were under, they still managed to managed to rock the crowd and win a lot of new fans. But yes the sound quality was, unsurprisingly, crap.
It's the star symbol on the drum, and I saw in the intro of the music video that they simply turn it happily. No sound is made when you turn it, so you might miss it. The star was turned with a stick, and that was it. I thought, "What the heck is that?" and rewatched it several times. ^^) The star you see ahead is rarely turned, so when it is turned, something will make you happy.
It's actually an unused track off one of my bands albums. We recorded a rough track of it, and when it came time to go into full production we scrapped it because we felt it didn't live up to the standards of the album. No vocals on that recording obviously, just drums, bass, and 2 guitars multitracked....I think twice if I remember correctly.
@@THEDavidHeretic Well, despite it was playing only in the background it got me interested. Any chance to be allowed to hear it properly? I like instrumental pieces with nice heavy guitar riffs.
@@hans_Mustermann5000 I'll have to check with our manager and clear it, it was never meant to be released. I got approval to use it as long as I kept the dbs under -30.
Of course the sound sucks, compared to almost everything else, but at the same time I dont understand all hate about Bloodstock. Actually I like it because it really gives a festival feeling. Its like being there! =D I love that feeling about this. It sure dont give them justice, so listen to REAL recordings. This is more a compliment, when/if you are a fan. The guitar-sound doesnt get through and the solo parts sound so much better on the DVD/blurays. If THIS makes you love them, wait till you heard more of the good recordings! Highly addictive! Electric Pentagram...and THIS song is not on that one... ;) But its the latest and heaviest of their albums
Your right about not hearing MIyako singing. Festivals like this have a generic sound team that sets up all the bands. But if you watch closely you can see MIyako put her hand to her ear while singing and the sound man still didn't get it. You should react to their song SCREAM FOR ME (Daughters of the dawn) Live Link:th-cam.com/video/9Og4gvSUmCo/w-d-xo.html
Ohhhh trust me....I love playing festivals because the crowds are huge, but I also know all the chaos involved. Changing schedules, bands not showing up, going on earlier or later than planned, changing stages last minute, having your set cut short by 15 minutes because the headliner decided to do 2 encores instead of just one....yeah they can be VERY frustrating. THEN you add in incompetent techs and stage hands and engineers....and it's a recipe for disaster. We actually have it in our rider, if we can't use our own sound and light techs, we don't play. Period. And we have walked away from performances because promoters didn't read our rider and tried to get us to perform with their hired hands. Forget that noise. Sorry, went off on a tangent there...the request is already in the que, added your name to the requesters
Miho Miho Miho! I can understand your confusion with the Guitarists, It was actually Midori that was waving to the crowd at the start, The 2 Guitarists initially were Midori on the right and Miyako left, but in 2019 i believe they swapped, probably because it was easier to have the Piano on the Right so Miyako had to be near it
I believe they had to replace another band suddenly and they had like 20 mins to set up on stage, no sound check, nothing...add to that the fact the in-house audio mix is atrocious (you can barely hear Haruna's cymbals, who the hell mics a drum kit like that, i play for myself and even i have a better sound capture that that). Miyako's guitar also barely audible, almost cant hear her solo, specially those great sweeps she does at the end of it. To say the band was not pleased with the situation might be an understatement. Now onto the reaction, i enjoyed it, its not your fault the sound quality is bad, but i really urge you to react to their DVD stuff, anything from Five of a Kind Live Divercity 2020 or Daughters of the Dawn 2019 is usually safe to react, tons of reactors do those and they still have their videos up. You are so right when you say both lead guitarists complement each other, they really are polar opposites, Midori is flashy, fast and aggressive while Miyako is more soulful and more melodic. Also Miho the bassist is one of the finest headbanger you will see! The star shaped cymbals are just for looks, they are Haruna's trademark. She spins them but that's about it. I hope the poor quality of this video and the backlash from the comments (like i said its not your fault) doesn't stop you from checking them out more because they have some amazing stuff to be heard and i really enjoyed both your reactions to them! Recommendations - Raise Some Hell, Hammer of Wrath, Thunder Vengeance, Swan Song, Edge of the World (these are all from Five of a Kind Divercity 2020). Enjoy and stay safe and Merry Christmas!
Naaaaah the comments don't bother me, like I said I gotta go with what the requesters provide me with as far as links. It would be rude of me just to change the link that they requested, right? Maybe they specifically wanted that video....if I change the link, then it's no longer their request. The only time I'll change a link is if the video they requested has been removed (it's happened). For example, the Rammstein requests. I know there's like a 90% chance those videos will get blocked if the videos come from Rammsteins Official page. But, that's what the requester wants....so I do it. I'm completely all about making the requesters as happy as I possibly can....even if it means missing out on adding new members in The Fanbase. As far as doing more LOVEBITES requests, oh yeah I'm definitely doing more. Every single song you recommended are already in the que, so I have to do more. Not that I'm complaining I'm really digging this band. So yeah there will definitely be more reactions to LOVEBITES on the channel. Happy holidays to you and yours as well, and here's to a better year in 2021....2020 can suck it. DH
The guys are right, the Zepp City videos are much better quality. Either the 2019 0r the 2020 shows, which are commercially produced. You weren’t to know... but you get to see and hear the band on a much higher plane. (I’ve just ordered both from Japan, and I’m in the UK!) The whole band operates on a technical level the likes of which I don’t think I’ve ever seen... they are simply outstanding. Every single one of them. I have watched about 40 reviews in the last couple of weeks and the one person who doesn’t get the respect I think she deserves is Asumi, the vocalist. To me she’s a female Ronnie James Dio. The amount of power she projects from her tiny frame is remarkable, and she does it the whole show. Same too Haruna, the drummer. As you say, a machine. Incredible. Thanks for playing and reacting to this, I love your honesty. When you get to some of the Zepp City 2020 tracks you’re going to be in the high 9’s for sure. Maybe even.... nah, not gonna jinx them.
I read somewhere that they were supposed to play on a different stage and was sent to this stage about 20 minutes ahead of time and didn't have time for a proper soundcheck which probably would explain why so much is lost in the mix.
Yes live they are over the top. I glad that you apprecite heavy work of Ladies his movment at the stage and great interaction to audience. Asami frontwoman can rule of the crowd she is like general making the commands . Good analysis. Sound engineer was mad in Boodstock.
That sound engineer was incompetent. In all honesty he should have been fired, how can you be doing you job as FOH and not notice the stage right mic not working??? If I had been the promoter I would have fired him on the spot, sent him packing, and put his apprentice in the booth or done the FOH myself.
All the Bloodstock footage is lacking. Not your fault. If you have an email address, I can send you links to stuff that is not on youtiube. I can't just post here or it will invite strikes. Key point: Aggressive, yet melodic. Yes! That is really the thing about this band. They are as aggressive as any band out there, but their writing is better than most, and even their screaming-fast solos are melodic.
Yes. I'm recommended "shadow maker" from zepp diver city Tokyo. But unfortunately, the link has been gone. I thing get blocked from youtube. I'm sorry, I don't know the link will be gone. Not you false, if you choose this video from bloodstock. Hope next song, I don't give link "gone". Please reaction again song from Lovebites called "Raise some hell" This is a link : th-cam.com/video/Qm-3zhCFghg/w-d-xo.html Thank you so much for great reaction to Lovebites.
I don't understand the upset comments :( He explained that he got a dead link. So used search and grabed the most viewed video. Should you be able to tell from a dead link which live version was requested? (Unless it was mentioned in the request ? ) Anyways we should be grateful he took the time and checked the song anyways. (Even if It wasn't the best audio, and he doesn't blame that on the girls) What's more he liked it. Hope negative comments don't discourage you and you keep listening to what LoveBites has to offer. There is plenty more :) Merry Christmas!
Naaaaaah the negative comments don't bother me....they're just mad they didn't get their way. Of course, if they had made the request....and provided me with the link....then they wouldn't be all bent out of shape. But they didn't...and that's on them. Oh yes I'll definitely be doing more LOVEBITES reactions....I have like, 12 requests in the que for them so there's definitely more to come. Looking forward to doing them I'm really digging this band. Happy Holidays to you and yours, DH
I know, this is not the best audio quality of this song, but no worries. They did another great performance. Btw let's spend some words about Haruna, (Drums): Of course its easy talking about Miyako and Midori (guitars), Asami (vocals) or Miho (bass): they clearly have more visibility, but also the drummer is something else: called Human metronome, or pocket - size nuclear plant :D. and she is 1 meter 49 cm tall.. I think i love her!
As observant as you normally are,I was surprised that you missed that Miyako was stage right and Midori was stage left and her hair is black. I wonder why they switched?
I commented on "Holy Wars" I am not a smiling king of guy BUT I AGREE with you, when you go see a show you WANT energy from the act you're seeing! That's why I always tried to be active on stage! Get them into the show and give them energy FROM your energy on stage!!! Once my playing is back up to par and I find a band to play with, ENERGY must be there from the band when playing!
Oh man, not Bloodstock....I don't think I'll bother watching, 'cos the Bloodstock footage sucks, the audio's terrible. I wish they'd take it down. edit - I'm watching it for your view count, 'cos it's not your fault, but man... another edit - it sounds a bit better than I remember, just muddy and distorted and you can't even hear Miyako's solos which are epic. And yes, Asami is definitely awesome. I like that expression, "stage general". She is definitely a commanding presence, all 4'10" of her.
@@THEDavidHeretic great:) we gonna have a blast on this musical journey:) one step at a time. When u ready. Aldious (another all female band) will be waiting for you.
Already in the que. It's not next, "Rising" is next...then "Scream For Me", followed by "Thunder Vengeance", then "The Hammer Of Wrath", and then "Raise Some Hell". So it's 5th in line of LOVEBITES requests....then there's 7 more after that. So there's a good number of LOVEBITES requests in the que, more to come for sure.
Yeah, inferior sound quality, but I really appreciated how you were able to look around those issues and saw how they really brought their A game despite those circumstances. Hoping for more Lovebites soon :D
Trust me, I've played many, many festivals. I've dealt with allllllll the ups and downs that come with them. I still love playing festivals because the crowds are huge. Luckily, like you said, I'm so used to playing festivals I can look past all the nonsense and chaos and appreciate what they did. It takes time, but once you've done a few you get used to it. More LOVEBITES coming....trust me there's like 12 requests in the que for them.
Well, I must say Bloodstock is somewhat muffled sounding compared to their other live performances, such as Daughters of the Dawn, or Five of a Kind, which are pretty much pristine by today's standards. I'm an old timer and recall California Jam '74 with Deep Purple, Black Sabbath etc. and other open air concerts of the time. Those concerts were not always the best either. But we were glad to be able to hear and see these bands in a live concert. When this concert took place I don't think there were very many good, if any great live Lovebites videos available at the time. Just cell phone videos. Just Saying, I would keep that in perspective when watching their Bloodstock performance.
Only Cirque du Soleil skills are missing to get 9.5. To play and do acrobatic performance wearing high heels 😜 Dude, these girls are short so they wear high heels to look bigger and have more stage presence, unfortunately it's difficult to play 2 hours or more using this and walking around the stage. You should try this!
Do 8" platform boots count? I've done several shows with KISS tribute bands Black Diamond, Cold Gin, and Alive subbing in for their bass player....and I had to wear them. Soooo yeah, mine were bigger.
@@THEDavidHeretic nice to know!! So, now I am very curious to see)what you think about this (Helloween cover) made by Lovebites. Isn't a stage performance and you will need to valuate the rereading of this song. Eagle fly free th-cam.com/video/0zg-rAefIV0/w-d-xo.html
So, yes this isn't the best video. Yes, there are many other videos that are much better but, BUT this is when they just got exposed to the world on a huge Metal festival and they just knocked everyone out. They were unknown to almost anyone here. True, Miyako's guitar and vocals are poorly mixed. It doesn't always have to be perfect. It is still awesome! If you compare to the latest one, lets say Burden of time from their Studio Live Stream and this one, you can see the evolution of the, and I boldly state this, best band on the planet. Lovebites won the Metal Hammer best new band in 2018. In my list of current top 10 bands 7 are Japanese, Band-Maid, Scandal, Nemophila, BabyMetal, Aldious, Unlucky Morpheus and in top 20, Mary's Blood, One OK Rock, Wagakki Band, Asterism, Ghacaric Spin/Doll$box. Here are some links: Burden of Time (Miyako plays keyboards and guitar ... simultaneously): th-cam.com/video/4OBf_Gn8efs/w-d-xo.html Epilogue (best power ballad in decades and to me one of the best ever): th-cam.com/video/JGzdspVDZeU/w-d-xo.html Thunder Vengeance (best opening act I've seen in a while that is not BabyMetal): th-cam.com/video/yWE7PqCpGi4/w-d-xo.html Swan Song (vocals, vocals and Miyako Piano): th-cam.com/video/QUGCQ1FTB0g/w-d-xo.html Signs of Deliverance (dual guitar overhand tapping in perfect sync): if you can find Zepp version, they take it off constantly. You can see them playing on a catwalk together. Other songs: Edge of the World, Rising (MV), Under the Red Sky, When Destinies Align (MV), Empty Daydream, Break the Wall, Raise Some Hell, and in general, any song they make is really good. They have three albums, one EP, did an Anime song (Vlad Love), and have two DVD/CD of live concerts and one they made this year, special edition. Enjoy :)
The guy/s handling audio in that concert should be fired. But still, great performance by the band. And shout out to all metal drummers all over the world. They're all are beasts. Nice reaction video btw 👍👍👍
Obviously all us Lovebites fans cringe when a reactor picks bloodstock footage but it's not your fault dude. Keep checking out more of their stuff. Most everything else is pretty good quality minus a couple fan cams (cellphone).
Even worse than the shitty Bloodstock audio mix is the shitty crowd. Of course, Lovebites was a relatively new band from JAPAN in a daytime slot so it's somewhat understandable, but it doesn't make them less shitty.
Well not your fault but the band was forced to change stages just before going on (not their choice but was a promotion to the main stage) and the recording in very technical terms....SUCKS!!! The Wacken 2018 concert is better, although not up to the usual engineering stands either IMHO, but still much better. Now that you know that you should be good to go from now on. I always post a link for a request and if that is gone then it is a crap shoot!! We appreciate the effort and the band here is still the 1st all female metal band from Japan to play Wacken and Bloodstock (2018). So please don't give up on this band you can see from your 1st review what kind of standard this band performs at LIVE. Hey while you going down the J/Metal hole add these to your long and never ending list (LOL): Mary's Blood Marionette (th-cam.com/video/MLM2unV0kwU/w-d-xo.html) The bass will blow you away and the Judas Priest vibe is great from the one name wonders, oh and Saki's fingers of steel shredding is pretty good too... Asterism Rising Moon (th-cam.com/video/IfxMi0Bx4x0/w-d-xo.html) TEENS who mix Heavy Metal, Hard Rock and Jazz into some of the most amazing instrumentals (no vocals) Haruka the 15 y.o. (when the video was filmed) has that Hendrix vibe and was only playing for 5 years, her band mate brothers are equally talented. BTW congrats on making 1K on the subs, well deserved and well earned!!!
Thank you for the kind words Night I appreciate them. Added "Mary's Blood Marionette" to the que. "Asterism Rising Moon" is already in the que, added your name to the requesters.

LOVEBITES - Shadowmaker lyrics
:
Caught in the noise, my thoughts are destroyed
Trapped in the silence, it's so hard to breathe
But still I go on, my hunger is strong
Hoping that someone will grab my hand
Stranded by moonlight I realize the cold of this world
Maybe it's too late?
No one can save me
From all of the darkness and solitude
Cry, like shadows of the night
I carry all the pain inside to justify why I'm alive
Despite going through this hell
Cause still my heart has hope
No matter if I'm torn apart, I'll play my part
Before I drown with secret thoughts of my heart
Reckless and fast, how long will I last?
Dancing like puppets, I'm empty inside
Fighting the fear, and grieving the dear
Hoping that someday I'll be repaid
Only my echoing heartbeats can prove that I'm here
Am I all alone?
Even a faint light is too bright for me, I can't see a
thing
Hide, in shadows I reside
I tremble like a heartless soul, no place to go
In desolated land knowing no escape
But still I wish to live
Just waiting for a somebody to notice me
Before I fall down to depths of the abyss
Caught in the noise, my thoughts are destroyed
Trapped in the silence, it's so hard to breathe
But still I go on, my hunger is strong
Hoping that someone will grab my hand
Stranded by moonlight I realize the cold of this world
Maybe it's too late?
No one can save me from solitude
Cry, like shadows of the night
I tremble like a heartless soul, no place to go
In desolated land knowing no escape
But still I wish to live
Just waiting for a somebody to notice me
Before I fall down to depths of the abyss

i’m glad you still enjoyed it-! this was my second lovebites song too, and it really sold me on them~~ my favorite songs by them are break the wall and edge of the world. the first one more thrashy, the second more like a power ballad. (if you’re gonna react again :P) and any video is good if its not bloodstock lol
I have a TON of requests for LOVEBITES songs in the request que....seriously there's like 12 requests in there all for LOVEBITES. Trust me, there will be more coming on this channel.
@@THEDavidHeretic hah well i’m looking forward to it then~~
The two live albums are "Daughters of the Dawn - 2019" and "Five of a Kind - 2020". There are blue ray videos of the two concerts.
WOW-..There is nothing more to say ! now Subed ! Merry Christmas and stay save, Dave !!! btw ..8-8...fair !
Awesome, welcome to the Fanbase Mathias, glad to have you among us. Glad you enjoyed the show. Happy Holidays to you and yours.

@@THEDavidHeretic thank you Sir, it means a LOT of me !!!:-)
Bloodstock footage has worst audio quality, that's why you were supposed to see Zepp Diver City version
LOVE BITES is QUEEN METAL the best all female power/heavy metal..🤘🤘
What's the background music during your analysis after the LOVEBITES video?
Electric Pentagram...and THIS song is not on that one... ;)
But its the latest and heaviest of their albums
Well, Wacken is far better... and is a festival.
@@NerdChannelBrasil Yes, I know...but I still like to watch Bloodstock! :D Wacken sounds so good, you dont get any festival sound from it! ;)
Your right about not hearing MIyako singing. Festivals like this have a generic sound team that sets up all the bands. But if you watch closely you can see MIyako put her hand to her ear while singing and the sound man still didn't get it.
You should react to their song SCREAM FOR ME (Daughters of the dawn) Live
Link:th-cam.com/video/9Og4gvSUmCo/w-d-xo.html
DH
Interesting reaction/analysis btw! Subscribed for more LOVEBITES ...
There's like 12 more requests for LOVEBITES in the que....so there's definitely more coming.
I'm partial to their ballads, Swan Song
, Epilogue, Empty Daydream, Edge of the World.
The guys are right, the Zepp City videos are much better quality. Either the 2019 0r the 2020 shows, which are commercially produced. You weren’t to know... but you get to see and hear the band on a much higher plane. (I’ve just ordered both from Japan, and I’m in the UK!)
The whole band operates on a technical level the likes of which I don’t think I’ve ever seen... they are simply outstanding.
@@THEDavidHeretic Exactly
All the Bloodstock footage is lacking. Not your fault. If you have an email address, I can send you links to stuff that is not on youtiube. I can't just post here or it will invite strikes. Key point: Aggressive, yet melodic. Yes! That is really the thing about this band. They are as aggressive as any band out there, but their writing is better than most, and even their screaming-fast solos are melodic.
as long as you did enjoyed that its all good
Yes. I'm recommended "shadow maker" from zepp diver city Tokyo. But unfortunately, the link has been gone. I thing get blocked from youtube. I'm sorry, I don't know the link will be gone.

He explained that he got a dead link. There is plenty more :)

Naaaaaah the negative comments don't bother me....they're just mad they didn't get their way. Of course, if they had made the request....and provided me with the link....then they wouldn't be all bent out of shape. But they didn't...and that's on them.

It is actually.
@@mathiashinsch6548 It is indeed. Cheers to you, and Happy Holidays to you and yours.
MIHO !!! MIHO !!! MIHO !!! 🤘
As observant as you normally are,I was surprised that you missed that Miyako was stage right and Midori was stage left and her hair is black. I wonder why they switched?
Thanks bro for replying...Scream For Me I bet too you give them 9.9 score hehe...
Just getting to the footage and my Asian Fever has already kicked in and I am ready to die to SWEET metal and HOT ladies! lol
I appreciate you watching and giving it a chance, hopefully you enjoyed the show.

Bro, next song Raise Some Hell live at Zepp City Tokyo...I bet you give them 9.9 score....

Pre....CISELY
Well, I must say Bloodstock is somewhat muffled sounding compared to their other
live performances, such as Daughters of the Dawn, or Five of a Kind, which are pretty much
pristine by today's standards. I'm an old timer and recall California Jam '74 with Deep Purple,
Black Sabbath etc. and other open air concerts of the time. Those concerts were not always
the best either. But we were glad to be able to hear and see these bands in a live concert.
When this concert took place I don't think there were very many good, if any great live
Lovebites videos available at the time. Just cell phone videos. Just Saying, I would keep that in perspective when watching their Bloodstock performance.

the vabrato is a japanese way of singing that i think stems from traditional shigin.

Here are some links:
Burden of Time (Miyako plays keyboards and guitar ... simultaneously): th-cam.com/video/4OBf_Gn8efs/w-d-xo.html
Epilogue (best power ballad in decades and to me one of the best ever): th-cam.com/video/JGzdspVDZeU/w-d-xo.html
Thunder Vengeance (best opening act I've seen in a while that is not BabyMetal): th-cam.com/video/yWE7PqCpGi4/w-d-xo.html
Swan Song (vocals, vocals and Miyako Piano): th-cam.com/video/QUGCQ1FTB0g/w-d-xo.html
Signs of Deliverance (dual guitar overhand tapping in perfect sync): if you can find Zepp version, they take it off constantly.
You started with a wrong choice of video. The audio quality doesn't give justice to the brilliance of this band.
Between Band-Maid and Love Bites. It must be a rule in japan that sempai san must be stage left lol
Add RHCP to that list too
Obviously all us Lovebites fans cringe when a reactor picks bloodstock footage but it's not your fault dude. Keep checking out more of their stuff. Most everything else is pretty good quality minus a couple fan cams (cellphone).
Ohhhh trust me, there's more coming. I have 12 more requests for them in the que, so there will definitely be more coming.
Hey while you going down the J/Metal hole add these to your long and never ending list (LOL):
Mary's Blood Marionette (th-cam.com/video/MLM2unV0kwU/w-d-xo.html) The bass will blow you away and the Judas Priest vibe is great from the one name wonders, oh and Saki's fingers of steel shredding is pretty good too...
Asterism Rising Moon (th-cam.com/video/IfxMi0Bx4x0/w-d-xo.html) TEENS who mix Heavy Metal, Hard Rock and Jazz into some of the most amazing instrumentals (no vocals) Haruka the 15 y.o.
