I was asked today which is my favorite Eminem song of all time. And I thought about it for a while. And then decided on this song. This song taught me that life is not fair and can sometimes be absolutely ruthless. That's why sometimes you have to say IJDGAF, get up, keep going and don't let anyone get you down. This song gives me the strength to live.
He mentioned more names than that..."I'm Nicer than Pete but I'm on a Serch to crush a Miilkbone..." Pete Nice and MC Serch are part of the rap group 3rd Bass. And Miilkbone is a 90's rapper from New Jersey (Miilkbone dissed Em over that line). They're all White rappers.
I mean, it's incredibly easy to mix the album track with the video, but whether or not it would even stay up on TH-cam is a different matter. Thanks to the copyright Nazis here.

TheShutYoMouth First of all you stated "this is the real Slim Shady man" which I concluded you meant he is not that anymore.. (I apologize for the misunderstanding) but since I already opened this conversation I might as well state more of my points haha.. so secondly on _Bad Guy_ he is playing a character yes, it's Matthew Mitchell (Stan's younger Brother) but the horrorcore subject matter (Murder, Revenge, and the epilogue of that record with that personal Introspectiveness as well as the hatred towards others) and the dark beat(s)) is all the combination of Slim Shady record.. And the alter ego Slim Shady has played other character's in a record before (case and point: Murder Murder, Stan, etc, etc) and Legacy's 1st Verse was his childhood, 2nd Verse is his teenage years and Verse 3 is present day but his present day verse was in his Slim Shady alter ego.. and if you notice it's basically a compilation of his alter egos.. Verse 1: Marshall Mathers Verse 2: Eminem Verse 3: Slim Shady

Ludixhay X4X no he wouldn't 2pac wasn't really born around MC battles so eminem would have way more experience for dissing songs than 2pac.plus eminem always had beefs so he was always in the studio either making songs or diss tracks. eminem had beefs/MC battles with cabinus,jay-z,everlast,ICP,Nick cannon/Mariah Carey,ja rule. 2pac never really dissed so how can you say that.😂😂
For people who don't know, this is Eminem's first song to be released as a single and it's also his first song to have a music video. I believe this music video was released on TV on Monday 14th September 1998.
This was the first song that introduced me to Eminem when i was younger. I didnt know who he was back then but I was already intrigued. Most of the refrences i didnt understand but thats what made me hooked even more. I was like "This dude is ill, his metaphors, punchlines and flow." I immediately bought the Slim shady Lp and been a fan ever since.
+Tayjai Lytle oh you mean 'fuk DA police' straight outta Compton, gangsta gangsta, oh eazy e diss 'dre day', yes I know he has jumped on the mic and made songs. But that doesn't make you a rap legend, not every rapper is classed as one 😂😂. Dre's talent is beat making and everyone in the industry knows it. what a Muppet bahaha 😂😂
I just want to say thank you that I was born at that wonderful time when music was not taken over by show business and other garbage, they listened to it and just enjoyed it. I was born 00, and I am very happy about it that I grew up on the music of Eminem, Eazy-E, Tupac and Biggie! Although I don't know English well, I really like it!
Please bring the old eminem back... his new shit is wack. And his flow back then like in this song was so fresh, now hes basically trying to prove that he can rap the fastest about random shit.
Oh no! He changed his style! It just shows that he's capable of creating new, original music. Although recovery was shit, mmlp2 proved that he's still at a high level.
He's proving to all real rap fans that he still cannot be messed with. He chews you up worse than chewbacca if you spit at him! He's idk how fucking old, yet he's been in the game far too long. Still kicking ass, making dope new music, having his rap evolved to new lvl's that todays MC's have to adopt as their own or else they just wont make it in the rap game industries. Also true eminem fans like biggie's fans stick to their beloved MC who makes them smile and give them an energetic feeling to put up with the everyday crap of life has to offer!
Idk why but this is my fav song from Em, and the one i most played. Probably cuz the bass line on headphones are that nice and his flow is top notch. What's more bizarre is that this was his debut single, which is crazy considering its quality.

Eminem loves 2pac so much
Eminem is white peoples 2pac
De la Guetto Booth of them arme my Idols
If 2Pac was alive he would diss eminem 1000 times
MAN Tupac is the greatest ok but Eminem kill Tupac
He actually had a album before this it was infinite made in 1996
@@yolosedayThere were no singles from "Infinite".
It's crazy how many people come back to this song it's a masterpiece ✨
I never knew that this song has a music video. 😯
If you still listening to Eminem and to the song we would acknowledge you as our Eminem Role Model
anyone wish this sound 1:13 was in the uncensored version? I feel like it adds just a bit more to the song
My friends: “😂 u listen old raps”
Me: “I just don’t give a f***”
You have good taste my guy😎
This was the first song that introduced me to Eminem when i was younger. I didnt know who he was back then but I was already intrigued. Most of the refrences i didnt understand but thats what made me hooked even more. I was like "This dude is ill, his metaphors, punchlines and flow." I immediately bought the Slim shady Lp and been a fan ever since.
The Notorious B.I.G., 2Pac, Eminem, and Eazy-E are the biggest rap legends
+Makenley Saint-Cyr Eazy e is really overrated because he didn't write any rhymes of his own. I would put ice cube there instead.
Don't forget Ice Cube, Dr Dre, 50 Cent, Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, Nas, Jay Z, Drake, Wiz Khalifa, Kanye West, Meek Mill, Tech N9ne, Hopsin, DMX, The Game, Busta Rhymes, Big L, J Cole, Rakim, ASAP Rocky, Fetty Wap, NWA, and Bone Thugs N Harmony
+TheWalkingGamer Dr dre is NOT a rap legend lol. Hes a super dope beat maker. BIG difference.
+Shady Lady Dre used to rap idiot ever heard NWA? Fucking illiterate fuck
Dre's talent is beat making and everyone in the industry knows it. what a Muppet bahaha 😂😂
right after the Death of slim Shady
RIP GOAT
This track turns 20 years old today! Still one of my favourites by Eminem
who would’ve known he would become the greatest rapper of all time
Should rename this to "Camping at Area 51 with Eminem"
Squibbles Gaming 😐
😂😂😂
Some of the best hip-hop around, still many years later. Been bumping that Em stuff lately, for sure! Legendary stuff here!
OLD EMINEM BEST RAPPER I MISS HIM😭 he was a monster on every drug. 😂
I'm suffering from diarrhoea after listening to Nick's tracks.
So I came here for recovery.
Did the right thing
I just want to say thank you that I was born at that wonderful time when music was not taken over by show business and other garbage, they listened to it and just enjoyed it. I was born 00, and I am very happy about it that I grew up on the music of Eminem, Eazy-E, Tupac and Biggie!
Although I don't know English well, I really like it!
Miss that nasal voice. Brings me back to my teen years...
Also true eminem fans like biggie's fans stick to their beloved MC who makes them smile and give them an energetic feeling to put up with the everyday crap of life has to offer!
tha3dudes Preach it
RAP GOD WAS STILL A GOD A SONG THOUGH
this is one of Eminem's greatest songs
best rapper ever
Meh..
Idk why but this is my fav song from Em, and the one i most played. Probably cuz the bass line on headphones are that nice and his flow is top notch. What's more bizarre is that this was his debut single, which is crazy considering its quality.
I had no idea this had a video.
Same here
But then it's ruined by censoring it!!!
Same. I didn't even bother looking it up
Neither did I lol!
Same here

4 - B-rabbit
"You ain't gonna sell 2 copies if you pressed a double album"
Brutal...
Edit- I never knew there was a video....
I AM SO SAD TO NOT HAVE BEEN OLD ENOUGH TO HAVE WITNESSED EMINEM IN THE BEGINNING OF HIS CAREER! I AM A '98 BABY😥
0:56 he looks like modern day shady lol
YES EXACTLY
Yeah
Berzerk especially
Exactly, but now he has a beard.
People say he is cloned but he needs to read your comment
