    AI is helpful for teachers too. I use it to complete SPED paperwork all the time. While not exactly the same, I think of AI like a calculator. I plug in what I need solved, and I get a response.

    The way AI tools are empowering students is incredible! I'm passionate about AI and thrilled about how tools like SmythOS may contribute to the development of even more customized and flexible learning environments. Education appears to have a bright future!

    So Paycuts for Teachers and Administrators replace them with AI.

      AI can't replace teachers just yet, but it will definitely help the smart teachers and expose the lousy ones

      I posted a really good reply that I wish you could have read, but it appears the youtube moderation AI decided to censor me (probably because my stance is anti-technology and the sponsor of the newscast just cant have dissent). I made a comment that criticized the current administration and technology being in schools in general. We need to get back to basics. Paper, Pencils, Textbooks. Schools need to be a screen-free zone. These kids shouldn't be on a screen hooked to the internet for up to 17 hours per day.

      @@spicywater123 Isn't school supposed to prepare for students' future? And most careers will involve interaction with technology, and many adults interact with computer technology throughout their daily life one way or another. Is it more beneficial for kids to be shunned from these advancements or should they be taught to use it effectively and safely?

    Interactive AI tools, such as chatbots and virtual tutors, can make learning more engaging and interactive, helping students stay motivated and involved.

    Before you proceed to education, make sure you know your territory appropriately in the space of precautions against the insufficiencies of the knowledge and the deficiencies of human perceptions. Education is the most sensitive and misunderstood notion that I know of ! Too many interest are fighting over it to gain a political advantage !
    Start with health, not education. A good clinician AI won't be swayed by emotions. Doctors are so pressured from all directions and so afraid they are often unable to properly express diagnostic and prognostics, no offense to them, I'd be scared too. That's because they are not respected by the medical establishment which is too political involved and forget health issues.
    As long as administration solutions are admonition on medical personnel, THERE WILL BE NO CHANGE !

    Guess the Teachers and Administrators can stop all the year after year extortions for more pay. Do your job or get replaced. Take a pay cut because youve been failing at your one job.

      Teachers cannot be held accountable for a child refusing to do their work. Children these days are obstinate, and rude. I have a 14 year old son. If he really doesnt want to do something, he can kick and scream and throw a fit. There's nothing I can do to stop him or control his behavior. The kids these days are addicted to their phones and refuse to put them away. I couldn't teach you how to change a clutch on a corvette, which is cool and useful, and maybe fun if you were resolute in your desire to play on your phone. Tiktok and youtube shorts are rewiring their brains. If the information is not in short 15 second clips, they can't retain the information. Listen, its sounds to me like you might be on team Red, well so am I. I do think it's time to make a change in education, but I want to give the kids their childhood back. I want schools to look like they did in Stranger Things. No computers, no smart phones. Just paper, pencil, textbooks, and meaningful time with their friends. Maybe we should invest in fun electives? Bring music programs back to schools? The kids are tired of the super high academic expectation. They like school, but the emphasis on test scores and data is really dehumanizing. The kids just don't want to participate in a system where they are just reduced to a single test score at the end of the year. In the same way having a smartphone near you while you are trying to concentrate on a task is harmful and disruptive, AI removes all impetus for a child to learn anything. They might think its cool at first, but it wont be long before the kid is wondering what the purpose for learning anything at all is if AI can do pretty much anything. Can you understand that?

    KIDS CANT READ OR DO MATH. FAIL USA, FAIL! 1312

    • @spicywater123
      @spicywater123 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Actually, they can read. Um, what do you think they are doing on their phones all day. Look, its my belief that the schools were run into the ground on purpose. I'm all for getting rid of the technology in the classroom. These kids deserve a mentor who is grounded, educated, and has a good moral compass. The biggest problem in education is that the schools are always looking for the next "innovation," but this is foolishness. The system worked so much better back in the 80s and 90s. Why dont we just go back to a system that resembles that more closely? If you really want to know where the education dollars go, its used to prop up emerging technologies. The percentage that goes to salaries doesn't change that much from year to year. If you want to see a reduction in spending, then the smartest thing to do is to cut spending on educational licenses and technologies, clearly they arent really working, and just reuse a textbook for a few years. The chromebooks are so much worse for the environment than paper pencil ever was. Finally, just think to yourself: Do we really want these kids to be on some sort of screen for up to 17 hours per day? Schools should be a screen-free zone.

      @@spicywater123 Nope, doing math or writing with a computer is significantly easier, technology can do bad things like having kids copy paste essays and not do their work but if a kid wants to actually learn technology is very helpful.
