Theory Time: What is Deceit’s Master Plan?

- Hello everyone! I know times are very difficult during this Covid-19 quarantine as well as anticipation for the next Sanders Sides, so I wanted to make a light hearted video for people to pass the time. While watching my friend Erin’s Sanders Sides Prediction video, (link will be placed below), I got back in theory mode! I felt there was one episode in particular that holds more secrets than meets the (snake) eye: “A New Year of Lying To Myself.” Could this video hold Deceit’s master plan? What else is Virgil hiding? okay, why Frozen is Roman's favourite movie.
why Virgil was powerful, and still can be: As character Thomas said afterwards, Virgil was loud, and we naturally want the loud noises to stop because of our fear of being hurt by them. He also represents Thomas's anxiety, so he has full control over that, and as we see in accepting anxiety part 2, Virgil can have an effect on the sides, a large one, and because the sides are Thomas, that means Thomas is affected as well. Even the smallest thing like when Logan told Roman he thought he saw a spider behind him can cause anxiety, even if they are not in his room. In the change episode, Patton suddenly gets anxious and instead of turning to Logic, he turns to anxiety, because Virgil was the one who seemed to know the answer because he pointed out the problem, causing anxiety to Thomas and Patton.
I don't know if any of that makes sense, but essentially, what I'm trying to say, is yes, Virgil has quite a bit of Power over Thomas and the other light sides.

my first thought while watching the song was that the red thing on the self was Deceit in disguise. 😂
But the first few minutes blew my mind. wow.
* character Thomas
so, first Characters. lets start with the two main ones, Anna and Elsa. (sorry for any typos coming) Anna, is a girl who has been shut out and cut off from what could be considered her other half, because we see how close Elsa was to her before the incident, where Anna had to forget. Anna is someone who had to grow up almost alone due to the fact that her only playmate was locked away from her. She also lost a lot, from her sister, to her parents back to Hans, (because she did love him, until he broke her heart) and she even lost herself. Roman could relate to that because *he* was cut off from his brother when he was young, and who knows, maybe things would have been different if Roman and Remus got along. Roman has always been the eccentric one of the bunch, making him stand out, quoting from him, "standing out can feel outstanding sometimes." so he would know what it is like to be different to others. Because of this, Roman being eccentric and Logan not liking that, he would have been almost alone because Patton would have had to choose between them. In the moving on episode, part 1, Roman also said that in their teenage years, Virgil became a giant thorn in their side (s) so they would have more problems then, what with Thomas discovering his identity and struggling with who he was, like Anna. one of the only things Roman probably couldn't relate to was her being a little girl even though Thomas has said to consider him as his more feminine side.

And Elsa, Roman would have even more to relate to. She has the most character growth in the movie, and she has to discover her identity faster then most children do. Roman, at a young age was split off from Remus, suddenly having all the creativity considered as important, *having a power larger then he wanted at a young age.* he also will want isolation sometimes, though that point sounds lame. he said "sometimes we need to make like Elsa and lay low in our kingdom of isolation". This is my theory on Roman Sanders, and I will get to how it relates to Frozen in a bit. Roman has always been viewed as creativity, and expected to produce ideas for character Thomas, not only on a regular basis, but all the sides expect it to be good quality as well. Roman says in multiple episodes that he doesn't like beig criticized because he is doing the best he can, like in the Christmas episode, and the Puppet one, he is disregarded. in the puppet one, he starts the song, and then asks for permission to come back in, and when Virgil says "no-one hates you", he looks down, unconvinced. Roman has serious self esteem issues, when he pops up once, he said somethjing I can't remeber, (I know, bad for my argument) and then said "oops, (insert word I can't remember here) slip" which is when someone accidently says something they didn't mean to, but is true, like when Patton said, "hey guys, I'm sad" instead of 'dad'. Every time Roman gets into an argument with Virgil, he is the one who has to APPAologise (PICANI), even though Virgil causes as much harm to Roman through his words as Roman did to him. Elsa is constantly Villainised, when she is trying her hardest to be good enough, as she struggles with the powers she didn't ask for, them plaguing her life and hanging like a shadow over her, like Remus for Roman, ruining her childhood, and even her early adult years. She is constantly blamed for things she has no control over, and then there is the expectations from royalty that weighs more heavily on Elsa then it does for Anna.

Hi Bree, I really like the format of the video that you made, but here's a tip: Can you speak louder while recording videos? I can't really hear it and I need to put my volume to a high level.

Thank you for you critique, and I do know I talk very quietly, and I try my best to raise the volume during editing. This problems comes for two reasons: I have a naturally quiet voice, and the walls in my house are very thin, so I talk quieter to compensate for that. Hopefully I can fix this problem in the future with my own volume.

My only problem with this theory is that it probably disproves Pinxiety, but that’s just my opinion because I feel like you’re right and I don’t want you to be😂
Well not necessarily, it happens all the time in movies and tv shows where the person who’s meant to attack someone ends up either liking or befriending them, I was just stating it was a clever way for Virgil to slip into the light sides without much question considering Roman is such a judgey person overall. If, let’s say, Logan was the other one in the video, he might question Virgil more than just simply being annoyed by his presence.
