Thank you. Very helpful. I just converted from 6 volt to 12 volt on my CJ3A and am having some strange electrical issues going on. Like residual current going to tail light and dash light! You've just convinced me to rewire the entire jeep instead of trying to trouble shoot the tired 70 year old one color wire. Thanks
Great video. Thank you for the help. I have no experience in harnesses. And the instructions need to say whats front and back ends on diagram. I feel more confident putting the harness in now. Thanks again.
I literally left the harness in the box for about two years. Your video gave me the understanding to complete the wiring job. Can’t thank you enough. And like you said in the video the Walck’s harness is top notch quality. Just needs better labeling.
great work! good pacing and tone. recently picked up a 60 pickup, got the rear turn signals going and the brake lights with a new mc switch and new bulbs, haven’t gotten the tail lights to come on with the headlights yet, hopefully soon, the PO has plow lights wired in with both the flashers and parking lights out of drivers fender block. hoping to find the missing link soon between head and tail lights. walcks is a summer destination for me this year . thanks for making the videos
Hey Joe thanks so much. My name is Joe too. I’ll think about how to do a headlight and tail light video so that maybe it can help you and other folks as well. I’ve got a 48 Pickup as well that the wiring is working really well on. Maybe I’ll use that for the video.
I was back and forth when I got the wiring harness, sending pictures of the wiring layer out and asking which wire went to what so I could get a start and was so disappointed when I was told to look at the diagram again and again….Thank You so much for this video! I believe this will get me back out and get started once again. Will you be videotaping placement? What you have done so far is a blessing!🙏🥰
Hey, thanks for the kind words, I'm glad it's got you on the right track. I've gotten lots of requests for placement as well so I need to work on that too.
Hi Chris, I've had several folks ask about routing and connections, so I'm thinking about doing that as a video as well since so many folks struggle with this part of their project. Stay tuned.
Good question on the heater wiring. One of my Jeeps has a heater and I believe it's just a two wire setup through a switch on the dash. I can look and maybe do a separate video on that.
thanks, I was wondering if it came with the braided ground cable, or battery cables. now I know it doesn't. why doesn't the horn wire have terminals on the ends? does it come with the ends at least?
No terminals on the end of the horn wire but I didn’t end up using it since my horn wiring from the button to the brass collar was in good shape. Since my system is 6v I ended up buying some big 00 battery cables and they work great.
Excellent video, I've been an electrician for many years and don't see many obstacles with Walck's harness with turn signals for my 48 2A that I can't handle however stuffing all that wiring with asphalt coated sleeve on it thru those tiny rubber grommets in the headlight buckets appears to me a nearly impossible task ... How did you handle that?
Thanks George for the kind words on my video. To be honest, I'll have to go take a peek at how I did those. I might have cheated with a bit of grease on the grommets? I'll look and report back.
Hi Stephen, thanks for the kind words. I know it's been a year since you asked and I apologize I wasn't getting these comment alerts. If you still need them I can probably find them in my shop and send you a copy. Send me an email willysjeepinfo@gmail.com

Thank you so much for making this video! Saved me so much time with regards to labeling!
Hey there, happy to help you out. Good luck with your project.
Great video. Thank you for the help. I have no experience in harnesses. And the instructions need to say whats front and back ends on diagram. I feel more confident putting the harness in now. Thanks again.
I’m glad you found it useful Matt. Your Jeep is awesome BTW.

Great Video. Thanks! I'm a month away from wiring my 58 cj5. Convinced due to the nice looking harness to buy from Walcks.
Hey that's great news. Hope your project is going great.

Great video. Now this is making sense.
Glad it helped you out. Good luck with your project.
Great video I hope you make one to show how you run the wires that would be very helpful also
Hi Kenneth, thanks for the kind words. I've gotten many requests for routing of the wires so I think I need to do that next. Stay tuned.
This video was very helpful.. thanks.
Hey Jeff I’m glad it helped. Much success with your project.
Very helpful. Wish you could do routing and connections!
Hi Chris, I've had several folks ask about routing and connections, so I'm thinking about doing that as a video as well since so many folks struggle with this part of their project. Stay tuned.
Thanks for the video. Do you know how the heater wiring is supposed to connect?

46 CJ-2A light switch wiring
Hi there Joe, (that's my name too) :). I can do a video on light switch wiring as well. Stay tuned.
