Maybe he won't speak much in group interviews because Khun and Taec take care of that. I always suspected he must be fluent enough if he willingly befriended Khun back when the guy knew zero Korean and was basically foreign to the culture. Now that you mentioned his background it makes sense that he doesn't have a very thick Korean accent.
I know right? And the fact that they also speak Japanese, not to mention Khun who is a multilingual king. That shows how hard they work to be able to communicate with fans all over the world 🥺🥰
