Thank you! Thank you so much for the English translation subtitles! The majority of the best informative videos on jobs and accommodation by those who have immigrated to Canada are not in english. So thank you for putting them on your video.
Dear Divesh You are doing excellent job, sharing knowledge and helping others. In this continuation, can you please cover information about top schools and their neighborhoods with accomodation options also! This will be of great help for immigrants planning to move with kids.
@@thebanjarayogi i have a question. I remember you mentioning in your last video that your wife is working on a Ontario based remote job. Please correct me if I am wrong. I just wanted to know that does Ontario based remote job help in mortgage in Alberta? Please advise. Also it would be nice if you do a video on like how to narrow down Calgary areas if someone wants to move there from Ontario, like know Calgary is like NE, SE, etc etc. If you can do a video on pros and cons of different areas in Calgary it might be helpful for people who would like to move to Calgary with very little knowledge.

We bought the same house last year in October and 540K + 30K upgrades total 570,000. I think approx 690K. We don’t have Garage in our price. Garage we’ll build later after moving.
Good Informative Video Divesh and I remember you seeing on Potato talkies once as well....Congrats! Have you booked the house recently and are there still preconstructions houses available at this cost.
Thank you for you comment Manmeet We booked our house last year in October. In this community it’s not possible but you can try new communities like Rangeview
That’s a super informative video for anyone looking to buy a home in Calgary. No one has covered the details like you did and there’s hardly any information available online. Thanks for putting it altogether, really appreciate the effort you’ve put in.
good video buddy. I have been in Calgary for over 20 years now and I have lived in many other towns/cities in Canada. Hands down, Calgary is one of the best places in Canada.
Beautiful house 🏡……… Mahogany is a beautiful community……. May I know it’s a 1 car or 2 car garage in ur house ? And looking forward to ur basement tour 🔜 U r doing great buddy Keep It up 👍🏻
Thank you Sirji for sharing this vlog with us. We have been thinking of moving from Ontario, the only thought stopping is job opportunities...it's definitely a great community you have chosen and the house tour was amazing. Congratulations on your new home buying, we hope to also be able to move and buy our home soon....
Very nice video and very nice house. I did not realize that houses had appreciated so much in the past 4 years. once you move in you are going to notice a major change from downtown life. I would have probably stayed downtown, until I had a kid old enough for kindergarten, although your downtown apartment is only one block from an elementary school should you have decided to purchase your condo. hopefully you can rent your basement suite to someone working in the half finished South Campus hospital or related Health businesses. The reason I call it half a hospital is the government overspent two billion dollars building it and ran out of money before it was finished leaving many wings/wards empty of beds and equipment, and many other wings unbuilt. It is however the best hospital in the city, with the best ICU and the most progressive management and citizens advisory committee that helps run it. I had the misfortune of having to go to emergency there last year, and I found the majority of the staff, third rate. ( I want my hospital staff to be reasonably competent and not paranoid (not mentally ill)) the only staff that I really liked were the paramedics, and the emergency room doctor. You must really hate downtown, as you cannot get much further from downtown than Mahogany, but at least you are close to highway 2 ,201, and 22x in case you want to get out of the city! ;-) We jokingly call it the Siberia of Calgary, though it does look very nice now that much of it has been built. Your bus rapid transit route #302 will likely take you 90 minutes or more to get downtown depending on traffic, or you could spend half an hour on the bus, and 45 minutes on the redline c-train to get downtown. your greenline LRT, the way it's going will take more than 10 years to get to Seton. you and your partner are most likely going to have to invest in purchasing two cars, with all the associated costs of insurance maintenance and repairs. If there is no traffic the drive to downtown might take you about 40 minutes. your local library and rec Center is very nice, (though your library will NOT be a quiet place to study the way it is designed), but you have the most ugly and most depressing Real Canadian Superstore in Calgary. I could not stand to go to the Seton Superstore more than once, it was that depressing! ;-) I did not realize that so much had been built in Mahogany, but you still may have to wait a few years for schools to be built. The south side of city is not very good for Indian groceries nor Indian restaurants, and you will have to travel every distance to access any Indian services. your best Indian grocery option I believe is a Bombay Spices store somewhere on MacLeod Trail. please correct me where I'm wrong as I don't know much about far South Calgary, as I have never considered living there in the 40 years I have been in Calgary on and off. my preferences are Northwest Calgary for the intellectual University type crowd, North Central Calgary, for very good public Transit and very easy (the easiest) access to temples & most other amenities, and Northeast Calgary for the Indian crowd and good access to Indian food and services... 😊

Good idea to build garage after and not through builder. It is much cheaper this way.
