oal slag is the waste in the combustion of crushed coal of thermal power plants. It is a material as an additive to concrete, making concrete more waterproof
coal slag is necessary to build hydroelectric plants
Because coal slag meets water, it will melt and stick together, so water cannot be used to unload coal slag
so workers can't unload in the traditional way but have to use excavators
because this video is very long so i will divide it into 5 parts

I don't know about anyone else but i prefer vids full length and in landscape mode. Took a bit to find the different parts to watch in order.

after the excavator is removed is the remaining ash removed by hand as ive seen in all the vids the excavator doesnt dig right into the sides it leaves a depth of ash all the way along the barge

*Ying, tanks for part 5. that was 5 great videos. I hope everyone reads the blurb as to why you use a digger for this cargo to be unloaded. I wish that there was to be a part 6 to see the digger being lifted out of the boat.. plus also the cleaning up process... or is this boat only used for this particular cargo all the time????*

Thank you very much ! the excavator has been lifted from the barge by the crane , I will make a short video about it next time , the excavator is only used with goods that cannot flow down
