Well it's kinda obvious to anyone paying attention to Nmixx, it's widely admitted they are the most talented 4th Gen GG, but frankly I can't think of any Kpop GG in which ALL members can do what they do (keyword here is "all").
A vocal support isn't enough to determine their whole vocal skills so don't take the KVA System seriously but obviously, only NMIXX can give a wide depth of vocal skills when it comes to singing. From having better breath support, voice control, agility, range dynamics & versatility without having to rely solely on 2 members nor having to rely on being stylistic since NMIXX has 2 developed vocalists, 2 intermmediate vocalists & 2 decent vocalists. Having to hit a whistle tone nor highnotes isn't enough to give you the title of "best vocalists" it takes a lot of consideration before being one. Having a listenable tone also doesn't mean they'll be greater if their support isn't on par with their range.

Seems like everyone gives Yunjin quite a high rank, huh? This is not the first time I see someone give her a C. If you give Chisa and Juria a D+, Yunjin should be lower than that. Check "Stupid In Love" where she sang live with Max, she couldn't even switch between chest register and mixed register smoothly. If I remember correctly, she and the others in her group also had this problem when singing their song Easy in an encore. I find this lettering system weird, though. The ones that I was sure would rank pretty high receive pretty low ranks instead. Yunjin (there are other names that I think of, but I need to hear more from them before making a premature judgment, so I only mention Yunjin here since she is an obvious case) gets a higher rank than those that I deem as capable vocalists. Which makes me want to ask another question: OP, can you sing? You should be able to translate whatever theory/knowledge you use to rank these girls into delivering a solid vocal performance, shouldn't you? I'd like to listen to your raw vocals, then. Maybe I can even learn a thing or two from you to better my own singing.
I myself don’t know much about vocals, so everything I’m going to write are things that I saw other people write. The vocal system is based on how many notes you can support while singing. The more notes you can support, the wider your range and that means that your tier will go up. So I’m not really sure but I think that supporting means that you shouldn’t strain notes while singing and that the notes should have fullness while you sing. Sometimes idols can sound really good while they sing but in truth all the notes that they sing are extremely strained. I hope I could help you.

The only reason Yunjin is a C is because of her wide support range but like I said I think you have to have more than that to be a good singer/vocalist She did sound quite awful in easy but I saw people say that is because Yunjin is more comfortable in higher ranged songs than in lower ranged songs like easy. I did watch the Stupid in love performance and I would say that it wasn’t really good but also not really bad.

She sounded "awful" in Easy because most, if not all, of her parts required switching between chest register and mixed register, and she kept hitting with her chest voice when she should have switched. She does have some strengths as a vocalist. But transitioning between registers (in this case chest and mixed) should be easy if one is a capable vocalist, and the 2 main vocalists from XG are way ahead in this case. The notes that Yunjin can't switch smoothly should be within her supported range, why is it not reflected in the lettering system? Those notes are even more crucial than just having a wide "supported" range; it is one of the deciding factors whether a song will be listenable or not.

The only reason Yunjin is a C is because of her wide support range but like I said I think you have to have more than that to be a good singer/vocalist
She did sound quite awful in easy but I saw people say that is because Yunjin is more comfortable in higher ranged songs than in lower ranged songs like easy.
I did watch the Stupid in love performance and I would say that it wasn’t really good but also not really bad.
@@animelover-ul1xb she seemed to sing better in Stupid In Love because there are some lines in that song that stay in the same chest register. If she sings in the same register, she does sound good! She sounded "awful" in Easy because most, if not all, of her parts required switching between chest register and mixed register, and she kept hitting with her chest voice when she should have switched.
She does have some strengths as a vocalist. But transitioning between registers (in this case chest and mixed) should be easy if one is a capable vocalist, and the 2 main vocalists from XG are way ahead in this case. The notes that Yunjin can't switch smoothly should be within her supported range, why is it not reflected in the lettering system? Those notes are even more crucial than just having a wide "supported" range; it is one of the deciding factors whether a song will be listenable or not.

Sollyun is better vocalist than Yunjin, Kyujin or Rami obviously. Her vocal ability, music and pitch wise, breath and voice control is more developed.
Rami is promising, i don't want to underestimate her & she just debuted. Yes she sure does have a lot of materials to consider but lets wait more for more raw live performances since she can edge Sullyoon & Kyujin too with how good her agility & versatility is.

Controversial Opinion but K pop Vocal Tiers are literally inaacurate in discerning between vocal strain and support. So if you think that your idol is better at singing than what vocal tiers said then you are probably correct.
