I was messing around with the computer for 2 hours trying to find out how to not have the speaker notes show up on the presentation. And you showed me how in a few seconds 🤦🏾. After I prayed to the LORD, Thanks!😇

I've been struggling over how to view speaker notes on Zoom without students being able to see them--or without, in some views, the speaker note box blacking out the students' screens. The tech support at the university where I teach was flummoxed by this, finally telling me that you can't use speaker notes in Zoom! I'm very grateful for your helpful video. Grateful and relieved. Thank you!
Thanks for this - question, if I may. I would like to be able to enter fullscreen with my pres because the slides look better without the URL field and browser tabs showing above. However, when I enter fullscreen I can't access the separate window with my presenter notes. I can't work out how to get around this - can you help? Many thanks.
If you have a second screen, drag the Presenter View browser window to the other screen. Then put the slides in full screen mode. You will still be able to see your notes on the second screen while the slides are shown without the URL or browser tabs. I list nine options for adding a second screen in this article: www.thinkoutsidetheslide.com/options-for-adding-a-second-screen-to-use-powerpoint-presenter-view-in-teams-or-zoom-presentations/
@@ThinkOutsideTheSlide ah ok, thanks for your help. I don't have a second screen. I think I'll just download the Google slides as a PP and share that with the Teams meeting and keep my notes up on my own screen. Thanks again.
If you have your slides in PowerPoint on your computer, you can use the technique in this video to use Presenter View in PowerPoint with one screen: th-cam.com/video/SbtDmeFW_Jo/w-d-xo.html
An extra tip: you could also make the browser window you are sharing full screen with F11 on Linux/Windows, of shift+command+F on MacOS. This avoid sharing your web browser bookmark icons etc while presenting.
Great video with very clear instructions
