hope same deal as PT65E Need to test ohms in my TCC solenoid and would be convenient to just replace that and ground pin with long paper clip and get to work

Dude, your keyring of pin extraction tools is amazing.

Walt Zarnoch - Thanks Walt! While it can remove just about any pin, I love taking these connectors apart to find out how to beat them with common household items! Lol

@@WiringRescue My favorite tool is the stainless backer spring from an old wiper blade. Remove from blade, file/grind to a pick, and there you have it.

Walt Zarnoch - oh dang! That’s a great idea! I guess I’ll be doing that.

Had the same problem on my 00 camaro an what I found out the tcc brown cable was out of the pin..pretty sure it was the place that rebuilt the trans before...they did a cheap job...an you don't fix your transmission will burn.

@@WiringRescue I work with those almost daily, around 2010 gm switched from Delphi to a whole mess of different connector manufacturers, some terminals lock with plastic locks, some with part of the terminal, some with multiple parts of the terminal, and some lock backwards, with terminal coming out thru the front. It can be a headache. By the way, did you know that alot of original 60s and 70s terminals have similar locks, like for HEI coil, headlights, or even bulkhead connector.

Rusted Horsepower - whoa that’s great info! If you find any spare pigtails send them my way and I’ll dissect them on video! I get a kick out of seeing how all this crap works! Lol
