Hi, I still take several prompts to get exactly what I want, only 5k images so far. I had to stop viewing a little bit after five minutes. Could you please consider: we will cover the Swiss alps basic, beginner, advanced. This tutorial can help you build a little town in the mountains. We will cover the subject, lighting, camera, and a seed. If you spefify the seed at the end of the prompt, you can change the words in the prompt, and see what effect occurs with edits to the prompt. I mean no offense but "we'll get to that in a second" oh here is a random octopus "oh here is how you find the seed and you really should learn about them and use them." But you have not taught the viewer what the seed is. I'll start watching again, the phrases in other people's prompts are always good to study.
Thanks man, this tutorial was off the scale brilliant! I'm quite new to all this and probably more of a practical individual but computers do so much these days and to be able to keep up with it all, I mean you have to learn so many different programs and although the principles are the same the different GUI's and the nomenclature used kind of fills you brain up a bit, so eh, thanks for doing all this thinking for me, amazing! I have a good mind but I run out of questions sometimes when trying to figure things out, cheer buddy, have a great weekend!
Just want to say thank you for doing this and not gatekeeping at all. Im a new content creator just discovering it. I managed to create some pretty awesome images on my own with zero training. But this one video has got me excited and pumped. I don’t know why there are people giving any kind of negative comment… when this stuff is awesome, and youre out here helping people. So heartfelt thanks
Hi there Adrian. I am Simon, a film director from Poland, I just wanted to let you know I think this video is awesome, probably the best video I've seen about Midjourney. I am learning to use it for 2 weeks now, and really hope to see more stuff from you. All the best
I've had so much going on since releasing this last video and have been working on a book and some new videos I will.habe more stuff this week. Thanks for saying hello!
You are the freakinggggggg MANNNNNNN.... Thank you soooo much.. You really changed the game with this help... Making it color-coded really helps me understand more
this is the best MJ yt videos which explains how to write prompt in the clearest ways. All the showcases & prompts are well prepared! Excellent! Hope you can share more of the skills in MJ in future video
Best way to learn Midjourney is still just spending an hour or two in the main Midjourney discord channels, attempting to filter out all the noise, and immerse yourself in all the images and prompts that shoot by.... Learned more than any video, but still a well structured video
Thank you! Great content. I have had a pro MidJourney account for almot a year and I was looking for a step up on skills from my previous self taught stage. Just a suggestion, I would improve synch presentation of the prompting on screen with regards to the images that resulted. Got lost many times when you were either changing topic, or going back to previous prompts.
You are the man!! I have been looking for something like your tutorial for a while now. Amazing! The docs file you offered was the icing on the cake. ✌
Great video! Thank you for sharing! I sub right away when I saw your previous videos! Love how you share step by step! Looking forward to more of your prompt videos Question: -- what is the difference of parameter "s" vs. "stylize" and "style"? Can you please add al the lists of parameters and how to apply it?
Hello my friend, this is a quick answer to your question. - In Midjourney, the parameters --s and --stylize are the same. They influence how strongly the default aesthetic is applied to the generated images. Lower stylization values produce images that closely match the prompt but are less artistic, while higher values create images that are very artistic but less connected to the prompt. The default value for --stylize is 100 and it accepts integer values from 0 to 1000. On the other hand, the --style parameter is an algorithm modifier that allows you to switch between specific presets for certain algorithms. It’s like applying an equalizer preset to listen to a song in a certain way. So, in summary: --s or --stylize: Controls how closely Midjourney will stick to your prompt (higher values create increasingly “creative” images). --style: Allows you to switch between specific presets for certain algorithms. Cheers! :)
Adrian thanks for the great tips, your prompt framework looks stunning, but I'm wondering why the shot type is so far away in the prompt. This element is directly connectet with the subject but in your template is even behind the art style and stylize effects.
Awesome video, just getting started but this is so much help and I love that you created a document of the presentation, so helpful!! Looking forward to more content.
Fantastic video! Wonder if you’ve tried and succeeded creating average looking humans and not extremely perfect models. I’ve been trying with varied levels of success but mostly not successful. The beauty bias in midjourney is -s 750,000. Thanks for the great video!
Thank you for sharing all those nice templates. great work and it was helpful to learn prompting for the other model, like Midjourney. i am de[playing an app on my website, currently talking to OpenAI API to generate Dalle-3 images.. Dalle-3 is hard for the user as it auto revises the prompts. so you almost never get what you want. . But Midjourney is the sh*t. again, thanks and I'll try to share my prompt generator when finished.
You showed the scuba one and said, that's the original and that's my face (on the second one), but they look identical, so I'm confused. also, did you ever say exactly what image weight number refers to and why you only use it sometimes, same with the stylize number, and why specify "style raw"? Lastly, at what point do you describe the reason for the double colon::? Thanks to yourself, and anyone else who might be able to answer, thank you!
Adrian, you are an absolute master. Can't thank you enough. You bring a fresh, dynamic, wide-ranging, method to approach and conquer this exceedingly rapidly moving space. Would love to touch base with on some ideas - something quite special to explore that you will enjoy. Best way to reach you?
good morning, hi adrian. my name is yosep from indonesia, thank you for the knowledge given about midjourney, I really like it, because I'm a beginner in midjourney. let me download the presentation file. thank you adrian, always success.
Hay anyone help me with midjourney subscription In India only card method available,my card always decline If anyone buy my subscription I pay immediately
There is really no way to get anything “for sure” in AI generation. It’s really not that complicated. Keep expanding your prompt and adding what you want changed u til you get it. It’s like playing a slot art machine with a little bit of guidance.
OMG, where to start - (in order as they came up in the video if you want to follow along) Where is the image that is using the --iw 2? Its not affecting the "seed" image. That's not how seeds work. You need an image URL for the --iw to do anything. Camera terms DO NOT WORK IN MJ!!!!! (at least past v4 - they are just random noise) Using "detail" in any prompt is really not a good idea. Are you sure you know what --stylize does? What are these square brackets? They don't do what you think they are doing in MJ Where did you learn this stuff? That's how your prompt in SD not MJ. Where is the image URL when you are using images of your "client"? People are going to be really confused by your lack of completeness in explaining, assuming you even know yourself. OMG you really don't know what --iw does. You are using an SD style prompt inside MJ - those colons and square brackets don't do what you think they are doing. This is really really really bad! But I suppose you are getting the clicks and that's all that really matters. Medium and Dutch angle shot DO NOT WORK IN MJ any better than luck -this shows you have not tested these. You don't need "shot" when saying things like close up. Again, CAMERA terms haven't helped since v 4 - unless you want a shot of a camera in the image. That is NOT WHAT CHAOS does. - where did you learn this wrong information? Stylize goes from 0-1000 and that's not what stylize does. That's not how multi prompts work or why you would use them. Hey - you got the permutations right. Good job! (although again the camera there isn't doing what you think it is. (Can only use permutations on fast) Ohhhh so close, you can use as many perms as your sub level allows you to gen at the same time. (up to 40 not 4) Ummm, shouldn't a scuba diver have some sort of gear on him? I don't think most of your prompts are doing what you are shooting for (or at least what you are typing) but because they are so simple you are probably getting pretty lucky. You are missing out on sooo much control by not using the system correctly.
My new go to guide!
Thanks Chris!!!

Great video mate, liked and subbed.. and thanks for the slides, i was taking notes then stopped once you mentioned the slides.
Wow! Adrian you really outdid yourself. This definitely is THE BEST. Thank you so much!
Great overview - only thing i'd say you missed is the --w (0-3000) Parameter.
I did, I also missed IW also. Going to have 3 more videos coming the next couple weeks.
I look forward to making merchs!!
Can't wait to hear about itm

all of these are fantastic.. I'm definitely subscribing 🎉 Great Video. Love the format.
That's so kind of you, thank you
Thanks. You use IW for Image Weight in your prompts, but don’t seem to be using an image?
Great content!
This was awesome, thank you!
Totally, thanks for watching and saying hello!
Great video

How does using a seed image differ from just doing a RMB>copy link?
you are awesome amazing thank you so much
Saved on the "Prompting References" playlist. Excellent work, thanks.

I tried your advanced prompts. a lot of it wasnt applicable to what I'm trying to create. All of it didn't work at all for me.

The face swap is a paid service?
No it's free, they have a paid option.
@@adrianboysel I see. What is the difference with free ver vs. paid?
@21:39 what *midjourney was able to produce ;)
U are giving all this knowledge for free? And so less subscribers? It’s not fair. Subscribed❤

seed has nothing to do with character consistency
Great video, but man, you talk fast. 😄
Thanks for the tips. 👍
