Thanks for posting this. I got the Strat after saving forever and the local mom and pop has the tele as well and ive been kicking myself so Im going to grab it on payday. It plays great, I just didn't want to blast the amp in the store.

Can the tele play heavy distorted/high gain stuff?

Sure! It's not a metal guitar of course but it cans! even if single coil pickups they do not generate to much noise.

All electric guitars can play any genre essentially but it won’t be as good for metal as say a Ibanez with a thin neck flat radius and hotter pickups

@@MadSteex anche se stanno esagerando... adesso le Vintera 2 a 1200/1300 euro... sembra l'aumento progressivo delle tasse e la contemporanea diminuzione dei servizi

@@l.g.5899 è aumentato tutto ormai, anche il mercato dell’usato! Qualche anno fa trovavi una bella Gibson Les Paul standard a 1200 tenuta benissimo…adesso 1700/1800 tenute bene… che da una parte è un bene eh…vuol dire che lo strumento non si svaluta troppo appena comprato come era una volta.
