I've got a 2015 same color but Cummins. I put those same lights in my rear bumper. I just installed AUX 3" amber cube lights in the front, stupid bright. Another game changer is a pedal commander or pedal monster. Amazing driveability upgrade. They build so much lag into that pedal.
im planning on getting a 07 ram 1500 for my first car but the thing i dont really like is the odometer is there any way i can change it to a digital one?
I'm in the process of adding fog lights to my 2017 Ram 1500. Already bought a new bumper with the outlet in it for the lights. Wanted to keep everything looking stock. Bought a new headlight switch. Bought a new aux light panel and a new fuse bank under the hood. Unable to do the work myself as it is out of my ability. It's becoming so crazy stupid expensive that I'm about to give up. Throw all the stuff in the trash and go back to the original bumper.
Go chat to your local radio shop if you have one, they have helped me wire up things in the past and keep it looking clean! Id give that a shot before you just give up!
180 is too cold for a Ram engine to run properly. Almost all Chrysler engine's run optimally between 191-195 degrees. Modern day engines do not run better at lower temperatures. It's a cheap & easy way to cost yourself more money. Yep. $10 bucks to make your engine run worse. Cheapest fix of all, Leave it alone. The amount of engineering that goes into the engines today, are way over your & my head. If it isn't broke, leave it alone.
@@Texas12valve I had a 77 Nova that I did this too because it had a cracked thermostat housing (the one welded to the engine, a pain in the ass to fix) so for a while, I simply removed the thermostat & drove around with it ice cold. Was pretty interested until he started saying to tint your lights. I've seen & heard of it being done. The purpose, to look cool & make it harder for cars to see you at night & slam into the back of you. I think safety features such as lights that let people know where you are, shouldn't be messed with. That's moronic just for a "Darker look".
