iFly Lesson 8 (First Time Sit Flying) - April 23, 2021

  • This week we turned up the wind speed so I could learn how to sit fly!
    Working on:
    Sit flying
    Backflips
    Superman on the glass
    transition
    back flying at high wind speeds
    general back flying control
    Improvements:
    Holding arms and legs steadier while on my back for better control
    Digging heels into the net so I don't fly into the tunnel wall while sit flying
    Turning toes inwards while sit flying
    Angling arms down while lifting off the net to gain lift
    Bringing heels in if wind is dragging me forwards

    awesome that you filmed all this! I had 50 skydives before I even tried the tunnel. You realize how weak of a skydiver you are once you get in that small tunnel 😂 working on back flying now, and it's super difficult! Keep up the good work

      hehe I'm a tunnel rat and my first skydive wasn't the best lol. Definitely am gonna try again next year! back flying is so disorienting and a pain in the ass XD

      @@Andrew-pf7vl sorry for the hugely late response but starting out I did 10mins/week on Fridays and now I do about 10-30/week depending on how im feeling, usually I like to do about 15-20 though
