So refreshing to see a video where you weren’t necessarily showing new products or focusing on products from a particular company. It must hard for you to be able to do videos like this but I wanted to let you know that I really appreciate it.
A real bell-ringer once again, Jennifer! Ding-ding! I always need something I can start in my chilly basement crafting area and then bring upstairs to finish at the kitchen table where it's warmer!.....such as watercoloring, colored pencils, or something I need the kitchen sink for. Your ideas here give me another format with which to work. Thank you, Jennifer! By the way, you have a lovely voice, and your hands are so pretty. You have nothing to feel insecure about. I also want to compliment you on your organization. It is obvious that you put great thought and preparation into your tutorials. Thank you. While there is merit in just turning on the camera while one is crafting and putting it on TH-cam, you truly prepare and give a thoughtful, organized presentation with good ideas, examples,, and demonstration of techniques. That lilac background at the end is beautiful. Using the white heat embossing really pops! I love that you are always showing us techniques to help us stretch our supplies.

Great idea. This background is something to do when you are out of ideas but want to do make a card. Good way to begin and the ideas will come. It will certainly fill up the stash.

Love all your tips. I use some of them in all my crafting, not just card making. Lots of times I use a regular piece of lined paper under letters, etc., to get a straight line. Some day I'll get an actual grid for my stamping platform. 😉

I'm a computer nerd and I've been designing cards on my own for years using fonts in my word processing program (Microsoft Word and also greeting card apps like The Print Shop). The idea is the same as your stamps--you choose similar sentiments like Happy Birthday paired with descriptive words in different fonts. For example, I've made some beautiful Mother's Day and Sympathy cards using "mother" and words describing mothers. For sympathy, using words that evoke memories... It looks so pretty especially when it's a monochromatic color scheme, and it works equally well with bright colors for birthdays. :)
My honey is going into surgery next week for a knee replacement. I'm not a very good "waiter" so I'm going to stamp some images and bring them to the hospital with pencils and markers to keep me busy and keep my mind from worrying. Thanks for the idea.

I always love your videos youre such an inspiration. I was just watching one of your vids on coloring on the go and the 31gifts bag which i need for coloring on the go, because my 68yr old brother had a brain aneurysm a week ago yesterday and I am doing a lot of coloring while we wait. He is such a brilliant artist. He wakes briefly, once a slight smile went back to sleep. They gave him 1% survival when they took him into surgery so we feel so incredibly blessed we still have him here with us. I know this is not the platform for this, so I hope I haven't offended anyone. but we do make cards because we care about people. I'm catching up on your videos too. thank you Jennifer for all the tips like utilizing sentiment stamps for background I have a tight budget this isa great idea. The 31 gift bag will be used a lot, as the hospital is 72 miles away, I can load it up for the day. Again thank you Jennifer for all your wonderful videos.

I love the idea of creating my own background with stamps I have! You can even use a cutting pad from Sizzix as a large stamp block if you don't have a stamping tool.They were just the same as a acrylic block! : )
Julie L I went to a plastics place and had a bunch made. I have a really big one I use for a palette sometimes. So I have all sizes and widths.
