    I agree bro! I got the fullsized version nung Dreadnought(A1-DN, size 41) last Friday at masasabi ko talaga na solid yung tone, build quality at materials used para sa presyong pinoy hehe

    for a traveling musician hehe yung tipong araw2 bumabyahe dala ang gitara in places na iba-iba ang humidity and temp, go for laminated top. mas matibay and more resilient to bowing especially if you use higher gauge strings

    Good days sir! ask ko lang nakita ko kasi sa pics nya yung male xlr sa jack input, ano po yung use nya? can i use it po to connect the guitar to my interface?

    • @GeekNamedCj
      @GeekNamedCj  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have tried to use the male xlr jack for my amp. Pero to answer your question, it’s basically like a mic jack. It works like the regular audio jack, but in my honest opinion, depending on the system or the interface, using the xlr input makes the output sound clearly, again depending on where you plug it 😊 hope this helps.

      Yes, actually when I practice finger style songs, I use this guitar first because it's very comfortable :) Get one na!

    Kudos sa detailed review, sir. Angas hehehe. Anyways, i'm considering between dread mini or gs mini, both the models na walang pickup. Goods ba 'tong dread mini or somewhat lacking yung tone niya if unplugged? Thank you and God bless!

      Hmmmm great question. I suggest you watch videos that compare the Little Martin - LX1 (where the Clifton A1 Dreadnought mini is modeled after) vs the Talyor GS Mini (where the Clifton A1 GS mini is based on) to better understand the Difference. Both guitar models and body sizes offer different tone depending on the way and style of music you play. Personally, I'm an Ed Sheeran Fan and I tend to play more songs like his so I choose the Dreadnought Mini, well aside from it's the smallest guitar in the line that was perfect for travel. When it comes to tone difference, I suggest you watch videos comparing the Little Martin vs Martin Dreadnought Junior (DJr-10) to better explore the difference in tone, kasi iba talaga yung depth and largeness ng sound ng isang 36" travel size guitar to a Junior and even Standard sized guitar. But what I can tell you is that the Clifton A1 Series Dreadnought Mini has great tone and sounds awesome :)

      It had a small, almost hairline, gap where the neck meets the body, parang kasya yung thinness ng bond paper,. As in maliit lang hehehe it could have been easily fixed with wood glue para mawamaarte lang talaga ako , but everything about the guitar was great. It was just really aesthetics kaya ko pinapalitan. If you're gonna buy from GTRS music store naman, you can contact them through their FB page after you've checked out your order from their shopee page, may phone number sila dun. Although I think closed yung physical shop nila during this ECQ :)

    • @GeekNamedCj
      @GeekNamedCj  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It actually depends on ano yung hinahanap mo sa gitara.
      I have both a Clifton and a DnD guitar and here's what I can say about each guitar:
      If ang hinahanap mo is a guitar that has an established brand, madaming design aspects, maganda yung tunog, and kaya mo naman magbayad ng mas mataas na price, you can go for DnD. Yung quality ng DnD is subok na and theya re even endorsed by Artists. Although mas mahal siguro yung DnD ng mga 1k-2k, pero I believe that you get what you pay for.
      Pero, if yung hanap mo is really good quality guitar, SOLID TOP, na maganda yung Tunog (TONE), na mas mura, and simple looking, then get a Clifton A1 Series guitar. 5,950 (no pick-ups) and 7,200 (with pick-ups) lang yung prices nila with a lot of freebies. There's a lot of value when you buy a Clifton. Although the past 2-3 years palang sila naging sikat, maganda yung quality ng Clifton A1 Series, Solid Top na, maganda pa yung tone.
      Hope this helps. :)

    sir good and detailed review. ask ko lang kung okay lang yung edges nya kase wala sya binding?

    • @GeekNamedCj
      @GeekNamedCj  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, the edges are great. A guitar's binding does help with the overall construction of a guitar, but I think 70% of it's use is for added structure, but 30% of it is aesthetics. The Clifton Guitar is already great :)

    • @marksinner2289

      @@GeekNamedCj thanks for the reply. i think ill get one. Im just worried before because i saw no binding on body and thought its cant last long. But for the price, i think its good.

    Sir maliit po ba ang mini series ng Clifton sa personal? Compared to other guitars po. Thank you hehee nalito lang since 3 years na akong hindi nag gigitara 😁

    • @GeekNamedCj
      @GeekNamedCj  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, it's significantly smaller than regular guitars because it's 35.5" (Mini/Travel Sized) and regular full sized guitars are 40.5-41" in length normally :) You can refer to the comparison pics in the video between my D&D Django which is a full sized Dreadnought style Guitar (40.5") and you'll have a better impression how it compares to the Dreadnought Mini :)

    Mas okay po ba bumili ng ganitong mga guitar for complete beginners po? Kung hindi pa po, ano po recommendations niyo po na pang beginners?

    • @GeekNamedCj
      @GeekNamedCj  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I believe that Yes, it's best to buy this particular model (Dreadnought Mini) or the GS Mini size of the Clifton A1 Series, since the two sizes are both considered Junior/Travel sized which can be more comfortable for complete beginners. Generally, complete beginners need to learn basic chords and plucking patterns so the size of the two guitars I mentioned above is perfect. You really can't go wrong with a Clifton A1 Series guitar. Hope this helps :)

  • @trismalie4181
    @trismalie4181 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Yung neck nya sir ilang cm, maliit lang po ba?. May truss rod din ba sir? Magkano din sir pa set up nyo?

    • @GeekNamedCj
      @GeekNamedCj  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The scale length (measurement from the nut to the saddle) is 23 inches, so compared to a full-sized guitar (40.5-41 inches) it's shorter. I've never really measured just the neck itself, I might have to get back to on that. Yes, there's a truss rod. I get my guitars set-up with the same luthier so nasa 350-500 depending on the guitar, but as of now, the basic set-up that was done with the guitar being reviewed is just a truss rod adjustment, kasi low-mid action naman yung guitar out of the box. Hope this helps :)
