The original 400 2 stroke scrambler was the first sport 4x4. There’s something about a 2 stroke with 4 wheel drive that puts a huge smile on your face even today 👍🏼

Lots of videos comparing them and believe it or not, they are pretty close performance wise but the Scramble is better balanced over all. Power is smoother and steering is more refined. Better seating ergonomics

I think the newer Scramblers are the reply to Can Am's Renegade line up. Power is on par and comfort is subjective, but every bit of a comparable atv. The main problem I had with the Scrambler is the placement of several things that seemed, well, odd at best. The coolant reservoir is just begging to be broken to pieces where they have it under the fender. The IRS seems like it's over engineered and it had an overall top heavy feel. Both Scrambler and Renegade models need some refined fenders that offer aggressive styling but actually protect you from debris.

I would love to see a sportsman 850 review. I live on a farm and ranch so I'm interested to see how they like it. Give me more of an idea if it would be a good work horse.

Looking at buying a used 2013 Scambler XP, seller says “does have a check engine light on for throttle safety but still running and driving like it should.” Sounds like BS to me, like buyer beware. What are your thoughts on the check engine light?

What is the make of those Klim gear? I have a Scrammy 8 fiddy and get covered head to toe in mud and water and need some gear. Has Dirt Trax TV done a review on riding gear?

Why?? You like pushing heavy quads through the woods because polaris makes nothing but junk, sure they are fast and comfortable but they always break down

How are the axles on these things? I know Polaris is infamous for their weak axles on the sportsman and RZR.
+Jason slender right and my question was about the quality and durability of the stock axles.
Ok guys I have a serious question I have a Polaris sportsman 850xp and what I really want to know is if scrambler plastics/body will fit on my sportsman? I figured that it would because of the two sharing the exact same chassis but I can't find any forums on this topic. PLEASE HELP.
The way the body of the scrammy is built, I highly doubt it
But the chassis are exactly the same I had my doughts until I found out that both of them are almost the same

93-97 Polaris had 400 2 stroke sportsman 4x4. It was NOT a sport body style. Yamaha plastic was sport not utility. Not a hybrid.
