I passed the CCNA on my first try today (this was the last video I rewatched before the exam). Jeremy is a fantastic teacher and I'm grateful this series is free for anybody to see. Thank you so much Jeremy!! I'm celebrating with my family tonight!

      Congratulations on passing your exam!
How did you prepare for it? Also, how and where did you practice for the test?

    • @mihavolski398

@@rezahemmati9691 Thank you! My preparation involved watching and rewatching all of the videos in this course, as well as doing every lab that Jeremy offers.
As for external resources, Cisco offers a practice exam set of 220 questions (for around $60 I think) when you book the CCNA exam. These can be done in your web browser and were incredibly useful and I wouldn't have been able to pass the exam without getting a good feel for the exam with these questions. I have never tried Boson Ex-Sim, though Jeremy recommends it as a good way to get a feel for questions.
Good luck in studying for the CCNA! It's more brutal of an exam than you'd think.

On Day 57 and whether or not I pass the CCNA, This course is very beneficial and a great resource. Plus it's FREE. Let's support Jeremy so he can continue to provide this type of content guys. "Invest in people who invest in people".. A helpful tip I did while wacthing the lessons was opening up another tab and play some beat instrumentals along with the videos(keep the volume lower than Jeremy's voice) It'll help get you through the longer videos. God Bless Jeremy !

I want to share with all of you that this series of videos was all I needed to pass my CCNA exam and also, the bosom exim practice exam. Hi Jeremy, I watched your CCNA course at least 4times and practiced the labs a many times over. I am very grateful as it helped me with passing my CCNA on my first attempt!!!
My advise to everyone planning on taking the CCNA or any cisco exam (ONLINE):
    1. please never, ever, ever, ever use a computer with policies implemented on them even if you have full admin rights to the device. It almost cost me to fail the test as several services kept restarting themselves during my test and the Pearson Test App kept bumping me off (TextInputhost.exe was the culprit 95% of the time). i had to restart my APP at least 28times. and restarted my laptop at least 2times. I only partially finished (maybe 90%) only one lab on the test and skipped the second lab. probably there were more labs (I don't know) as i ran out of time after completing only about 90% of the questions. so I had about 10 or more questions that I didn't get to.
I honestly thought I was going to fail. I don't know what my overall score is as I think Cisco has stopped putting actual exam scores in your report. they only put your performance in each section of the exam.
    2. All please use an external monitor. It was so distracting for me trying to scroll down the screen to the buttom of the CLI during the lab each time I had to enter a new command.
oh boy! I spent more than 3hours for a 2hours exam. and I didn't get a time extention despite all the distractions. my Proctor said that it was automated and she was sorry there was nothing they could do about the time extension.
I am happy I managed to scale through. Without being well prepared and I had to deal with this sort of distractions, there was no chance..
I hope this feedback helps someone else prepare better...
    Now on to CCNP.
    Thanks Jeremy once again!

Thank you so much for this free series, and thanks for your follow-up mails with sources and suggestions for more study and practical material, aswell as test exams.
I’m starting a new job in February, and i’ll get a higher salary if i’m able to pass the ccna before starting.
I didn’t realize you were still updating this series, as i’m currently on day 12, and i saw the new CCNA curriculum also contains programming and interpreting JSON.
I just read now that you’ll shortly be releasing videos on these topics, and the timing really couldn’t be better!
To be honest, i tried multiple paid courses on Udemy, but they are nowhere near as good as yours.
You should seriously make paid courses and consider a career in teaching IT. Your teaching skills are outstanding.
Keep up the good work, cheers!

if you are into cybersecurity. i think the knowledge is enough (based on many research). you can showcase a few projects then take AWS or microsoft azure 900 for cloud computing. nowadays with cloud migration, companies expect you to have the foundactions of networking but the ccna itself isnt enough to guarantee a job. if you take it, it gives you a headstart of course but projects are good too, then upgrade your skills with cloud related certs in microsoft or aws. thats just my honest opinion. but you can still do it, just keep on practicing and it is always adviced to take the ccna cert. best of luck!

@@amegabyte7986 when you schedule your exam, go through Cisco and get the option to retake it for an additional $75. Don't be scared. It's a promotion going on until like April 20th to retake it for free. When you buy the promotion you'll have 90 days to take the exam
