I first watch his video performance of this form 13 years ago. He still performed it the same way even though he looked much older. Very strong legs, could kick high and very graceful. Would look even better in Tai chi costume.

I watched a Chinese movie about bringing the Buddhist scriptures from India, something, and it was mentioned that a thought requires one seventy-fifth of a second. I can pack a whole lot of bad thoughts into a "split second". Taijiquan is a way to start to learn to feel the moment. I always use the image of a slug or worm crawling over the edge of a razor blade (if they can do that). The only way to feel the moment of truth is to be absolutely innocent about it. "No evil," I think the Latin means. No, it means "not do harm"! From Proto-Italic *nokeō, from Proto-Indo-European *noḱéye-, causative of the root *neḱ- (“perish, disappear”). Cognate with Sanskrit नश्यति (naśyati, “disappear, perish”). You're trying to build yourself up. I quit doing my 24 Beijing routine because I kept hurting myself. (A month later) I think I admire Chen Sitan because he uses no excess energy. I compare this video with his doing the same Beijing 24 postures 16 years ago. It is boxing/wrestling in form but the therapeutic value is in balance and poise: in the moment of danger you will get the violence you need.

You kept hurting yourself because you tried to perform like the professionals? If you can't do for eg Snake Creeps Down, modify it, do what you can, so don't squat all way, and you wouldn't hurt yourself. Do not give up. Do whatever you can for your health.

Nobody ever said this was Chen Style Taijiquan, anyone who does their research knows this is the modern Wushu 24 Taijiquan Taolu, which is primarily based off of Yang Style Taijiquan movements.

By happy chance off to the right here this evening is a TH-cam video, only three and a half minutes, of "Taijiquan Chen style 24 Form Sujinda Yangrungrawin THA Male". Most amazing taijiquan I've ever seen. I'm exhausted after watching it.

@@chrisrushlauThis is the Yang style. The Master there is Chen Sitan. Chen is his surname which is the same surname as that of the creator of the Chen style of taichi and it's coincidental.

@@yangchensun5546 I have been watching Chen Sitan in his videos for maybe fifteen years, at least. You should take a look at th-cam.com/video/1x8fA9zTrfo/w-d-xo.html, Taijiquan Chen style 24 Form Sujinda Yangrungrawin THA Male
