    First & foremost just be aware we are very picky about flavors and often experiments take a while to find the perfect recipe. Many have shown interest in me sharing what I am doing in the kitchen with sourdough bread.
    I'm new at this and just starting. I have had great success so far with every batch I have made.
    I give credit to Patti Alderman, ‪@AldermanFarms‬, for giving me the courage to just start SOMEWHERE!

    ohhhh, I see a spin off channel - The Nakid Baker! I'd love to hear more about how you use up that amazing bread, the zero-waste kitchen is a new and big passion of mine. Having chickens helps (bottomless pits), but I'd love to hear the new ways that you incorporate the homebaked goods into your fresh & fast meals.

    • @TheNakidGardeners
      @TheNakidGardeners  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Lol..... Awwww, thanks!
      A wasteless kitchen takes great practice to get seamless. The chickens are my favorite composters!
      I'm intentionally testing different recipes and will probably do a follow up and show how quickly waste can make another meal.
      I used to cook a lot for my kids and now it is just us, it's easier to be wasteful as the house population dwindles. 😊

      @@TheNakidGardeners I like trying different breads. I've made baguettes, washed several starters down the drain, get ready for this one ---because my starter smelled "sour"..... I'm still learning 😃. I've made a cheesey jalapeno bread that's spectacular. I've made artisan bread with merely flour, salt and water that was gone in a flash! (With lotsa butter on it, that I don't think was in the recipe!!! And I try the yeasty bread doughs in my bread machine, too. But ooh lah lah, the pounds, baby, the pounds I gained is the one thing about bread making I'm not fond of! Nobody ever said that pounds comes with that bread making territory!

    Homemade bread is spectacular! I even love it out of the bread machine. I have never made sourdough but it has always been on my list of things to master as it is my favoritest
    Unfortunately 3 months ago I started doing Keto/Carnivore and am not having any bread until I reach my goal weight.

    • @TheNakidGardeners
      @TheNakidGardeners  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      My condolences on that keto 👀🤣....
      But seriously, I totally agree now that I know. Learning that sourdough was actually fermented and part of the reason it is healthier while still being full of flavor is such a win!
      We have done a few different food restrictions in the past for goals so we totally understand. After our year of eating vegan I made the commitment that I wasn't ever going to do anything extreme again. Good luck and stay blessed! - Mrs. NG
