I have a croton plant which did really well in winters but since starting of summers it has stopped its growth plus its leaves have bended/curled up inside. I have kept it indoors n it gets bright light. Wanted to know what could be the reason n how i can save my plant??

I'm using stones for soil covering in normal plants , I have got some mosquito type flies ,do you think it's because of that. Though I am taking them out when it's sunny .
