I am in such a happy place now and that sounds like a grim memory, but its not. his music was so comforting. to hear something fresh from that era is really special.
What an absolute gem of a song, so much nostalgia about the whole sound of it running through from this period. Love the guitar parts so much and the vocals are just like heaven.

My son just flew to Austin to check into #recoveryunplugged For a bit of treatment! It's #facethemusic rehab. During the phone intake my son was pretty fucked up on drug still but they asked him what is the one song that does it.. makes you cry gives you chills.. it was Heaven by #JohnFrusciante .. I know through music my son will find recovery in the live music capital of the world! If they ask me what song does it for me it is # become by #Frusciante ... I think John is the best for guitarist of the RHCP. He is! Josh and John did a great work together with Shadows Collide, Will to Death and so many albums. If John needed this 10 year to relax and try something else as a person or as a musician Josh was the perfect guitarist for RHCP. I hope that Josh and John are stil friends so RHCP can renew time to time. As I remember that was furious when Josh came, but he did very well, I think it is hard because fans have a lot of expectations. Nowadays I like that John come back. :) Life is changing without pause.... :)

He is playing most simpleset riffs and chords but they are including honesty, innocence, hippie and all they are harmonized together with bad-good experiences in emotions ... therefore, he is real influencer for our time generation ...

In my opinion, he is the best guitarist out there period, as his playing conveys so much emotion. Being a long-time Duran Duran fan as well as a fan of RHCP, I was so incredibly happy that he played on some of the tracks for Paper Gods, Duran Duran's most recent album. Listen to "The Universe Alone," "Northern Lights," and "What Are The Chances" off of that album. Nothing flashy or overly technical, just solid guitar work that enhances those songs so much .... love JF!
Love the falsetto.. just wish he would reunite with his brothers and make some more magic.. RHCP, Stadium was his pinnacle.. so much influence in the creation of that beautiful record they're not the same w/o him and his harmonies.
I have always held his melodies and harmonies in high regard. Guitar and vocals. He had a great mind for vocal harmonies in particular... I often find they were the most compelling part of a lot of the old rhcp stuff.

Truly a beautiful song and sweet sounding guitar tracks.
Love the falsetto.. just wish he would reunite with his brothers and make some more magic.. RHCP, Stadium was his pinnacle.. so much influence in the creation of that beautiful record they're not the same w/o him and his harmonies.

I have always held his melodies and harmonies in high regard. Guitar and vocals. He had a great mind for vocal harmonies in particular... I often find they were the most compelling part of a lot of the old rhcp stuff.
