Glad you’re enjoying the videos. I do some park skating but for park skating tutorials definitely check out Shorty! Some amazing tutorials on there. th-cam.com/users/ShortysSkateSeries
Good idea! Is it just backwards to forwards you’d like? I call that a skip Jump. And then there’s a toe loop (mapes) which is backwards to backwards. I do a toe loop in the B roll of the next video we’re uploading soon.
I've gotten better at stopping without my toe stop b/c my toe stop continuously becomes unscrewed and falls off. Could that be b/c of improper technique or b/c I also have toe guards?
I also have toe guards. Its just become habit to bend down and tighten before I go down a scary or something. But maybe next week rainy day I’ll take my girls apart and move that nut. Loved this comment
Hi. These are a Risport Dance boot on a Roll-Line Dance Plate and these are some super old wheels from the Britney Spears Sketchers Skates in the early 2000’s. 😆 they are super soft, great for outside. .
My toes bunch and it hurts when I try to walk on toe stops. I do spread my toes to start but toes just bunch up handle the weight i think. My heel is not moving around i think am wearing the right size skate anything else it could be?
Heyy!!! So today I was practicing toe stopping for my first time, as I finished I realised my toe stop looked really worn out! Is that normal after a day of practicing?
Are you skating outside? The surfaces outside can wear your toe stops down quite quickly. To reduce wear, I do also stop by using my wheels instead of the toe stop. Have a watch of our most recent video “6 Tips For Skating Outside” where I talk about this 💕🙂🛼
That tip about it going plate-nut-guard-stopper explains what has been happening to my skates... Thank you!
Oh I’m glad that helped. It’s an easy mistake to make. Happy rolling xx 🛼
YAY! Another Skatie video! :D

Great video! My toe stops are completely unused, ha ha ha. So I will practice these steps to actually begin using them.
Have fun x 🛼
Love your vids 😍 Love to see a beginners guide to roller skating at a skate park since I have no idea how to drop in.

Do Brasil Gosto muito dos seus vídeos🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Thank you ♥️🛼
Could you do a video on how to stop while skating backwards please? Love your videos!!!
Hi. You can use the backwards one foot drill to stop. Or the two feet if you prefer.
Larry Lampost 😊
I tend to forget they are there cos I learnt to skate as a kid on old fashioned roller skates without one!

Can you do a tute for what I think is called a half mape?? Your backwards bunny hop turn around jump??

It could be the toe guards. Do you have a nut that secures them? I mention in the video that the nut needs to be skate side of the fabric.
@@Skatie I do! I don't know how I missed that tip 😅 Thank you for clarification! Your videos have drastically helped my improvement!

What type of skates do you use in this video! I would to get those wheels as well!

It does take a bit of getting used to. Almost like going en point it’s a skill to control the skate.

👋
Sooooo glad my toe stops are the Allen wrench type and not one of the ones with the nut...
The adjustable toe stops are definitely great. They make life much easier. 💕🛼👍
