The words are not similar but actually taken from their language, just like most of the food that we eat today. We, Indians, do not speak Hindi, except maybe 5% of the population or even less, but speak Hindustani which is a mix of Hindi, Urdu, Arabic, and Farsi.

First Mamluk Dynasty came, then Khiljis, then Tughlaq, Sayed then Lodhi, after that several attacks by Mahmud of Ghazni , after than Mohd Ghori and that Mughals. North India had became over the years the epicentre of cultural and linguistic mixture.
During Alauddin Khalji, There was a poet Amir Khusro, who is known as the Father of Urdu, he used to mix the Farsi and Hindustani and Awadhi in his songs. For example, Zihal-e-Miskin
Amir Khusro was called as Toot-E-Hind (The Voice of India), he was also a learned Sanskrit scholar,Khusro introduced Qawali in India, he introduced a musical instrument called Rabab(even Guru Nanak in the 16th century used to play Rabab), Khusro was also the follower of Hazrat Nizamudin(Mahboob E Khuda).
Bharat ki history bohat vast hai, apna apna gyan mat pelo aur jaake achhe se research karo, kindi is not a language but a Khichdi.
    Hindi=Sanskrit+Arabic+Farsi+English.
Muslims ne humko North India walon ko rehna sikhaya Style se, kaise raeesi jhadi jati hai, kaise stylish rha jata hai. Tabhi North k log zaida stylish hain, faishonable hain..
Don’t deny with my philosophy because I am about to publish it shortly.

Farsi, Hindi, and Urdu, all belongs to Indo European language.

@@udayk4170 Sanskrit belongs to the Indo-European family of languages. It is one of the three earliest ancient documented languages that arose from a common root language now referred to as Proto-Indo-European language:
      Vedic Sanskrit (c. 1500-500 BCE).
      Mycenaean Greek (c. 1450 BCE)and Ancient Greek (c. 750-400 BCE).
      Hittite (c. 1750-1200 BCE).
Other Indo-European languages distantly related to Sanskrit include archaic and Classical Latin (c. 600 BCE-100 CE, Italic languages), Gothic (archaic Germanic language, c. 350 CE), Old Norse (c. 200 CE and after), Old Avestan (c. late 2nd millennium BCE) and Younger Avestan (c. 900 BCE). The closest ancient relatives of Vedic Sanskrit in the Indo-European languages are the Nuristani languages found in the remote Hindu Kush region of northeastern Afghanistan and northwestern Himalayas, as well as the extinct Avestan and Old Persian - both are Iranian languages. Sanskrit belongs to the satem group of the Indo-European languages.

India and Iran are basically same civilization, originally same greater country.
Its well known as Indo-Iranian Civilization, so one civilization.
Like all different state languages all over India came out of Sanskrit language, in Iran original Pre-Islamic-Invasion Persian language also came out of Sanskrit.
So in Iran original pre-Islamic-Invasion Persian language is like Sanskrit.
What you are comparing here is Post Islamic Invasion in Iran, Arabic influenced language.

    Koi nayee baat nahi batayee.
Urdu actually Persianised Hindi hi hai. Pakistan, Arabianised Urdu and that is why, our Urdu is different from that of Pakistan.
e.g. Urdu says Khuda Hafiz (Khuda is the Supreme Being, Hafiz is who does Hifaazat)
Pakistanis would say, Allah Hafiz. They don't like Khuda Hafiz.
Some more examples of Persian Urdu :
    1.Sazaa Mukarrar kar dena
    2. Adaalat multavi karna
    3. Pani
    4. Aatish-baazi (Aatish is fire, the object of worship by the Persians before being conquered ĺby Islam).
    5. Muvakkil, mulzim, pairavi karna, peshi karna, Sajdaaa
    6. Aab (Water), Aab-o-Hawa (Hawa and Water) suit nahi kar rahi.
    7. Bad-hazami (Indigestion)
India has a history of Islamic invasion of over 800 years and there were Turks, Muslim Iranians, Arabians, Tartars etc.
We certainly share many words with them because of being in constant touch with these invader for around 1000 years.
Ab toh faarsi (Persian) bahot kam ho gayee hai. English has replaced it. Warna, my grandfather's Persian was very good.

Hindi-Urdu and Farsi have many similarities! Hindi-Urdu has many loanwords from Farsi; also, the ancestor of Hindi-Urdu (which is Sanskrit), is related to the ancestor of Farsi (that is Avestan).

Thats not anything like Pure Urdu or Pure Hindi. Both Hindi and Urdu are same language based on the dialect of Delhi NCR region. These languages have 75-80% tadbhav and tatsam words with 20-25% Persian, Arabic and Turkish words. Hindi is only spoken in Delhi NCR region and the areas which are close to Punjab. And Hindi speakers dont use Sanskritized words in daily life, they use Tadbhav and Tatsam words of Shauraseni Prakrit and Persian and Arabic words. Btw Hindi and Urdu are two different names of same language which got separated due to religious issues in the Subcontinent

@@dkmk6826 not true, Avestan and Rigved were written around the same time. Avesta is not derived from Sanskrit, they both have a common ancestral language which was the proto-indo-eurppean language. Its like in Evolution Human did not evolve from Monkey, but Monkey and humans have a common ancestry. Monkeys are our close cousins. The same way, Sanksrit, Avesta and the European languages especially the Germanic languages have a common ancestral language. They are all cousins languages. So no Avesta is not derived from Sanskrit
