    God I pray swift Judgement on people who drag Your Name through the mud. Please correct any of Your children who grieve You. I pray that You start with me. I deserve hell, torment, and suffering. I only have Jesus as my saving grace.

    I have two sons. No difference from this biblical story. The faithful son receives deed to all and I rejoice with the lost son returning home

    THE PRODIGAL FATHER
    My father’s voice booms around the house.
    His heavy ring is on my thin finger.
    His oversized coat covers my shame
    and upon it his warmth and scents still linger.
    The taste of pig pods are on my tongue -
    a reminder of when I was at my least -
    but soon it will be washed away with wine
    and the fattened calf of my father’s feast.
    I see his servants rushing to prepare
    and recall my resolve to be one of them,
    but he refused to accept my works;
    he called me ‘found’ and would not condemn.
    I am his son and forever will be;
    and forever remember … He ran out to me.

    John MacArthur’s book “The Prodigal Son” is a very good commentary on this account.

    I have always had problems with this parable. Jesus never prohibited what the son did, but rather told us the journey and focused on the end of repentance. Does that mean I can ask God for what I really want and not wait until the very end, but is that a natural law that I will do wrong with what I always wanted? I know they say not focus on the materialistic, but still i think its possible to do good, right?

    That most be a very old video for him to quote his own prodigal son.

    REFORMED TRINITOLOGY:
    O.k, we all agree that the Father was more than gracious for "His" forgiveness and we understand the prodigal for admitting his wretchedness......🤔
    But personally, I believe we're not giving you enough credit to the older son for calling out the prodigal's nature!
    In urban vernacular this is called "game recognizing, game"! The older son probably would have done the same thing the prodigal did (if not worse) had the temptation presented itself! 😜✝️
