So so beautiful. Greg from young nails puts 2 to 3 drops of acetone in his monomer to make it to where the brush doesn't stick to the colored acrylic to do 3d, 4d art.
extremely elegant and beautiful really loved watching that tutorial i love anything that has a dark kind of goth look im just starting out on my nail journey so this is a bit advanced for me but am definitely going to try this when i get better
Hey Margarita Solorzano for a blood rose look you need to encapsulate as this design is all about the depth and dimension. You can create this look over a finished nail for a 3d flower look xx
Mandi Coleman thank you for your comment. I used coloured monomer only the cap the blood rose as it gives a deeper look. I have used uncoloured monomer for the black part and the Rose itself. It hope this helps to answer your question 😘
Hey, you can cap in clear but the red monomer gives it the deeper “blood” look. I personally prefer the depth of the nail in real life view with the colour drops. X
Where can you buy the 3d brush from hun as I've had a few from Ebay but I carn't get on with them I need a decent make one but not sure where to buy them from please help loved your rose it looked so good
Naomi Coleman hey honey. This was filmed a little while ago now and I still have this brush however I’d recommend the 3d brush from Https://www.theglitterfairy.co.uk as it’s a bit cheaper then the crystal nails one shown here and just as good. I also have a discount code jen10 which will get you 10% off your order. Hope this helps xxx
I really love this video. You explain so perfectly and thoroughly, can you please link where you bought the crystal drops. Can you do this with anything else? Maybe like food coloring type of thing and then drop it into your monomer or what else can I do to color of the monomer? I tried looking for it on Amazon and eBay and I was unable to find them :(
Thank you for such lovely feedback. I use crystal nails colour drops. Here is the UK site www.crystalnails4u.co.uk/432-colour-drops Crystal nails are a worldwide brand so if your not in the UK you should be able to find them online or message me back and I’ll help the best I can. I wouldn’t use food colouring as this could cause a chemical reaction which would not give the best results for your nails. I hope this makes sense xx
Ohhhh this video was filmed such a long time ago I cannot remember exactly what colours were used with the acrylic but I’ve used crystal nails Aurora pigment over the top of acrylic design
These are gorgeous. Thanks for an easy to follow tutorial.
Mairi Macleod your welcome cx

It works awesomely too.
I think it gives it more depth and appeal with the color bleeding in though...especially the black, kinda adds shadow

Wow
Why the color on the mononer and not just clear? Don't the color kind of camoufladge the flower and with clear monomer could stand out more?
