☕🕯 Have a happy and cozy November! This time I wanted to create something with the changeable November weather. When you get home after a day of work, it's raining and slushy outside, you're a little wet and tired. And then you're home. Warmth and coziness envelope you. You want to drink hot coffee or tea, warm yourself by the fireplace with your favorite cat and a book. You enjoy peace and relaxation. Reading you suddenly notice that the sound of raindrops on the window has become quieter, you look up and see that it is already snowing. The first snow of the season. You smile anticipating something good and think how long this first snow will lie until it melts. I actually really love the feeling of the first snow. There is something magical about it :) We had our first snowfall back in late October. But it melted :) Have you already had the first snow this season?
I'm always so amazed by how similar our tastes are, even though we are worlds away from each other, and in different cultures! I know exactly what you mean by this weather, by coming home in the twilight or dark, tired and damp. That relief you feel, every time, as you step in the door. We clearly have the same values, and it makes me feel so connected. Not only are your scenes incredibly idyllic and cozy and evocative (they make me feel desperate to jump right into them!), but your multi-layered soundscapes are aural perfection. I couldn't ask for more. The pages turning, the clatter of tea cup and saucer, the spoon stirring, tea being poured, rain coming down and hitting the windows and house, and actually fluctuating in intensity, fire crackling and popping, cat purring, footfalls, book sounds, fabric sounds, a zipper, wood creaking, items being set down... there is SO MUCH and I'm absolutely flush with joy about it because this is what makes my work day-listening to your ambiances and all the different, interesting, evocative sounds with headphones while I copyedit. Everything so perfectly balanced, so that nothing is too heavy or forward, and things, like the cat purring, the supersoft music, take breaks in sound, so we're not just constantly hearing the same thing. You get all of it just right. (My husband would be surprised I said this; he calls me Goldilocks, because nothing is just right!) We had this exact weather on Halloween-rain that turned into our first snow. It melted the next day. Last night it was raining and then turned into ice pellets, but this morning it was back to rain. I love this weather. Sunshine is glorious, but I also really love the coziness and variety of weather actually happening, not just grey days. Anyway. This has made me calm and ready to work and I really feel grateful. Thank you!! xo

I love this video because I love rainy autumns, snowy winters, and fireplaces. I would be sitting in a comfy chair by the fire in that room with a hot mug of either coffee, hot chocolate, apple cider, or tea, and reading a book with a cat nearby. This is my favorite video of yours for the reasons stated above and I am also able to imagine myself in this setting. I would love to live in a cabin like this one day.

I love pumpkin soup, and pumpkin and apple pie. I also love pumpkin bread and pumpkin muffins. I love pumpkin spice lattes, and apple cider. I love the idea of decorating the house with fall wreaths, pumpkins, Haybales, and corn stawks. I love fall activities like hayrides, apple picking, pumpkin carving, hiking, horseback riding, and I love the idea of corn mazes. I prefer harvest festivals over Halloween, but I do love Halloween music and candy. I love Thanksgiving turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, creamed corn, green bean and sweet potato casserole, cranberry sauce and sparkling apple cider. I think those are all the things that I love about the season of autumn.
